Database errors? :(

I keep getting database errors, whether its entering the visitor page of one user, or opening PMs from another!

Im not sure what to do exactly ... though I do not feel that its due to this forum, but perhaps my internet provider.

However, if this has been happening to others, perhaps say so on this page?

Yes, there is a problem with the forum's database (and a few other things). However, it's all on the server end, so there's nothing we can do until we can get in touch with the host.

Yeah, I'm experiencing problems opening User CP or accessing PMs, hope this will get resolved soon!

I think people are unable to register to join RB right now, which means loss of new blood...

I agree, it's not a good situation.

Maybe it's worth thinking about trying to recruit additional people for the tech side of the administration team ?
Don't get me wrong - I'm thankful for anyone that spends his/her valuable time working as an administrator here. But it does not seem to be optimal when everything depends on only one guy who is on top of things when it comes down to technical backend details...

If the root of the problem is the insufficient hoster quality and you feel a move is in order I'd be happy to contribute some money towards that.
