So that was turn 140 I played earlier, 1500 AD. I suppose that warrants a few pictures.
The case for state property is not clear - our GNP dropped by 50 due to lost trade routes, whereas production and food increased slightly. SP will come in handy later on, but at the moment research is king. I offered OB to Shoot in an attempt to make Free Market a more clear-cut best choice.
I think the real question is whether to use Free Religion or Pacifism. I'm leaning towards Pacifism, as a GSci can bulb 1500 beakers.
The sign says Rifling->Flight as our tech path, but I queued Rifling->Refrigeration->Superconductors to get Laboratories going. Refrigeration is technically a non-space tech, but T-Hawk says the earlier Labs pays back the cost and then some.
We finished Broadway this turn, I think Eiffel Tower is next in our capital. Cash Cow will finish Ironworks next turn.
This was not a good turn for Rego. He gifted us a great scientist, but he lost two cities. Oh and as usual I forgot to gift him any gold. I plan to gift him Hit Musicals next turn, at least.
Darrell's GNP has passed 3000, as you can see. He just started a golden age. Us keeping up is pretty impressive, although we're at max sci and he's not. Here are some screenshots from our more specialist-oriented cities.
I have to run.
