It looks like both of our winless teams going to get an upset victory this week.

Scooter's up 74-58 with both teams having 2 to play (Keller and Vikings D vs. Daniel Thomas and Shiancoe: 95% win chance for him, I'd say), and Sunrise is up 21 with Percy Harvin to play against just Plaxico Burress: 99.9% win chance for Sunrise at this point IMO. No way does Burress put up a 100-yd 2TD game, even if Harvin might get shut down.

The Gildersome Giants would of had a shot if they had just started a D.

Agreed. An 11 point gap might be surmounted (also, having 2 kickers outside of a bye week isn't a great plan; there are decent ones on the waiver wire to pick up if you need to. Starting the wrong K also cost TT 5 points: Plaxico could definitely make up a 6-point gap).

Yeah, but the big thing was the D, since the kicker thing would of probably kept Detroit's anyway, since they're scoring often.

Likewise, why Sunrise has 4 QBs on his team, never will I know.

Tebow is a flier; he's just as much of a prospective play as a Jackie Battle; it's possible he's a Cam Newton-type QB. Pure upside. But having 3 regular QBs for matchups and the like would be a waste...if there was anyone really worth picking up at WR or RB (which there may be). Or, who knows. Maybe someone else needs a bye-week replacement at QB.

There's a good 3 or so waiver wires for bye weeks, TBH. And if you want a WR worth picking up: Greg Little, Jerome Simpson(Though I didn't expect him to do nearly as good as he did) and Jason Avant. Arguably Kevin Walter too.

Oh, and Sanzenbacher.

So, what odds do you give me to win this week? I've got a nice 22 point lead and I expect at least a TD from Holmes against a pretty bad Miami D. Think AP + Knox can make it up?

Battle should be the starter for the Chiefs now, I think he could be my #2.

Before the game started, I'd have put you at something like 60-40 or so. Now, 95-5, b/c AP won't be able to run loose with a 23-3 Chi lead; a 100-yd + 2TD game is normally possible for AP, just not this week when the Minnesota D fails to slow Chicago down.

I didn't watch him in any of his games, but I sure loved his target numbers over the last two weeks. He didn't strike me as only a home run hitter from his stats.

Kuro Wrote:The sad thing is I had a trade for Gore, but I thought I could get a WR for MJD and fill someone else in his place. But I guess nobody wants MJD. And I doubt the trade is still avalibile, heh.

I thought that trade would have been a downgrade for you in both positions... wink

Tebow is all upside like Cyneheard said. I'll probably start him the rest of the season, but he could easily be demoted and have Orton take back over. Romo is next on my depth chart, but he's been hurt, so I wanted Flacco around until Romo was totally healed. Then Hassalback was needed for waiver replacement. Obviously expect 1+ QBs to be cut soon, they'd have been already had waiver requests gone through, but I saw no need to cut a potentially desirable player to another team to pick up a skill position player I had no chance of starting.

Remember - with top waiver priority I gain less than most people holding a player I won't start unless someone else would start them. In other words if WR X was worth holding but would only be started by any of us if he had a big game this week then I'll just grab him as the waiver pickup.
