I'm always a little leery about hot-linking various stuff from the web on forums, but this article from Wired News was HYSTERICAL!! How many of these complainer-types do YOU see on a regular basis?

Thanks for the link. Some of those stereotypes are more accurate than others, but I've definitely seen just about all of them. For example, in Civ terms:

The Power Craver: "What? How dare you reduce forest chopping?!"
The Magical Realist: "Settlers represent 10,000 people, there's no way they could be killed by wild animals!"
The Lifestyler: "Pointless comsetic feature ____ should be in the game" (era-specific leaderheads, unit/city cultural group graphics, etc.) "and it's not because Firaxis is RACIST!"

Well, you know what I mean.
