I checked the other day and it seems pretty much intact on the wayback machine. Sullla mentioned trying to back it up on his Garath site/blag a few months ago but no word since. Anyone interesting in archiving his site and reupping it elsewhere?

You can get there pretty easily using the Wayback Machine. For instance, if you go to my Civ3 links page, just clink on the banner to Sirian's website, then click "Impatient" and you'll be right there.

If someone wants to try to host all those pages and images on their own server, go for it - but it won't be me. lol

I could host it, but scrapping it off Wayback Machine without a Linux based computer is such a pain I won't even try starting ( no, it does not support wget ). So if someone feels like packing it up and emailing me said package, I can put it up. Otherwise I'm not touching it until Warrick is back online and/or gets that web interface they are planing.

There's some javascript overlay on whole WMB site that's used to parse internal links of archived sites. It confuses the hell off wget. You apparently were able to get around that as far back as early this year, but they changed interface recently. This change is what knocked out Warrick btw.

Eh? At no point in time did I ever say I was planning on hosting Sirian's old reports. I simply wanted to provide access to them, which I did via those Wayback Machine links. Nothing has changed about my website either; I'm working with League of Legends at present, which is a highly visual game that translates poorly to written reports. If we get another (good) new turn-based strategy game, I'll be back posting written reports again.
