[SPOILERS] Emissaries from the blighted lands; Mardoc and Jkaen take on the world!

Jkaen Wrote:I am in Italy this week, I should have been able to play, but the stupid airline has lost my luggage, can you please make sure the save passes to Mardoc as well until further notice

I have come to the decided conclusion that I would like to have your life, Jkaen.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Really? 3 days with the same clothes makes it a pretty stinky life atm!

So, I missed reporting on your turn, Jkaen. Not a whole lot to say. I started you on a settler and warrior, to head toward the copper site. Good news and bad on the hunter - he survived being attacked, but not by enough to stand fast. He's running away, with Hawk support from Ying to tell him where's safe.

I also revolted you to Agrarianism. Although in most places, that trades a hammer for a food, you do have a few farms on grass or marsh that only gained from the deal.

You're on 100% gold at the moment, to get back your event fund, then we can speed up on Mysticism.

My scout is en route to the hut, if you could keep Hawking in that general direction it would be lovely.

And I've a worker building a plantation for our first happiness resource, the sugar smile. Trying to preimprove the city3 site a bit, of course, in addition to adding to the happy cap.

I'm debating revolting to Agrarianism myself. On the one hand, it would be positive. On the other, at the moment it'd only gain 1 food for nothing, and it's a turn of anarchy.

I'm also starting to debate which city makes sense for #4, since 3 is getting close. Currently leaning toward one of these two; both would be decently strong, both would add in another happiness resource soon (although the furs need a border pop first).

As for your dotmap - I mostly agree with it. I've been trying to figure out a way to get the clams, though, without disrupting the rest too far.

In foreign news, we see that Kilmorph fell to the dwarves. Much better than if it were the Lanun! I think we still have enough of an edge on Way of the Forests to get there in time, even if we go Bronze first. But we definitely shouldn't dawdle.

Not sure if you're in shape to play civ yet or not, so I decided to grab your turn again.

Found something interesting:

I want! Your hunter doesn't have Subdue animal yet, though - that is, your eastern hunter. I'm thinking we may rotate them, send the inexperienced hunter to the west to soak up goblins for a while, and once your experienced hunter heals, he ought to be able to pick us up a Spider.

Also it means that my scout will have to find an alternate route to the hut.

Finally, your Griffon is on his way to go find someone. If we stick to peaks with him, and uninhabited water, he ought to be pretty safe. He can't pillage, but could at least threaten workers, right?

Yep, he's headed north, that's the direction of the most convenient mountain range at the moment. And it's a 1/3 chance of hitting the foe we most want to hit - but we ought to have other opportunities later. Like that spider wink.

Please let me know when you're ready to play the turn again.

Played your T54, nothing happened really. Turned research back on, Mysticism's due in 2.

Sadly, there's a lizardman in the way of your gryphon, so he only made 1 tile northward progress this turn. As long as that lizard moves, the gryphon is safe to move again next turn.

Mysticism is almost in, I'm thinking Way of the Forests next is what makes sense. Bronze working after that, after you've had time to settle your city and mine the copper.
