I don't think it was any secret that another expansion for Civ4 would be coming eventually. What remains to be seen is what will get added, and if Firaxis chooses to put in the effort to maintain game balance or simply goes with the Civ3 Conquests "feature-creep" model.

Take-Two Interactive has no one to blame but themselves for financial difficulties; their CEO recently was forced to resign as a result of a scandal involving their stock options. Too bad that the Civilization franchise has been saddled with subpar publishers for a while now! (Infrogrames, Atari, Take-Two... not exactly a great lineup there)

I did. In no small part because I'm hoping that new RB events will open (soon :ohpleaseohplease: ) in both vanilla and warlord flavors.

Edit: Per Sullla's comment, I found it funny that on the Warlords box it specifically refers to itself as the "first" expansion to Civ4.

MP just isn't my cup of tea. Even if it were, my RL schedule is so hectic and unpredictable (to me, at least), that I'd rarely if ever be able to commit to any length of time. That, and I often take waaayy too long to play turns when there's a big decision to be made.
