I, too, have been checking the website daily in anticipation of the next event. You have to say one thing: The Realms Beyond members are one patient group of gamers.

OK. I will start an event this weekend. If Sirian is reading this (unlikely) and plans to launch one on Monday then post here and I will not do so. Otherwise, expect something on Saturday/Sunday. I'm an OK scenario designer, but obviously not as experienced/good as Sirian. I make mistakes, but hopefully it will be OK and pass the time before he returns.
Not 100% sure on warlords or vanilla. If I remember correctly, Sullla, T-Hawk and Kylearan lack Warlords. Anyone else?
Lacking warlords as well. And would really like to play.

You really might want to spend some time interacting with others and playing some of our events before trying to run them yourself. Once you've gotten a better sense of what Realms Beyond is about and become familiar with the community, that would be the proper time to start thinking about planning events.

I may have been in this community for only a week, but i've played Civ 3 for about 4 years and Civ 4 for about One. So I'm not really a "newcomer" to anything but this forum. And it's just for fun and you dont have to take it so seriously. Maybe you should actually play the game before comenting on it. YOu could figure out its good. Obviously, if everyone will go shun my game, no one will know if its good or not. SO a suggestion: sign up, play it, see if its good, then comment. Also, I would try some events, if there were any current ones: since i've read every one of sirian's writing of Civ 3 and 4, all of YOUR writings and all of Kylearan's writing, I can't really play any of the epics because you guys have already spoiled them for me.
