In other words, we can use our GAs? Yes, you may use them. I used the word "acquire" because you also get the 3 pts for the GA from Music, not just the ones born from your GP points.

Hey all! I just joined and this shall be my first RB event. Yay! Haha not complaining but it seemed the second I decided to join in, events on this site suddenly stopped... Glad there is at least an unofficial(?) one. So wish me luck since I get slaughtered on Monarch at the best of times...

That rule is necessary because the governor occasionally assigns scientists in your library city without your doing. I know someone will pop a scientist at 2% chance. But getting the free GPs on the tech tree is fine.
Note that you can largely avoid governor rebel specialists by setting the city to "Maximize everything", he'll still tend to create specialists in a city which has run out of plots, but otherwise he wont.
Anyway very cool game concept, nice variant, looks like decent scoring. I'll definitely play.
I'm trying to decide how to play this ...
- break all the rules - try to maximize the scoring system - bend each rule as much as possible - some other way I think I have worked out my approach but it requires that it is played on marathon. Can I get a save in that version?

I would like to know if any of the knowledgeable people here know if there is a way to convert a save (or at least a map) from Vanilla to Warlords or vice versa. My vanilla CD is MIA and I am very irritated at myself that i can't play or even shadow any of the recent RB events. Nice scenario design though.
