GvG Build & Discussion - Split Training

Considering how little they used Flurry and our own inexperience with staying alive, if we use the above build it'd probably be good to use a sig instead of Flurry.

If I had to fill in the blanks on the build, I'd probably use the following:
- Add an adrenal spear attack to the P/W, possibly Wild Throw since stances are making a comback.
- Put Natural Stride on the ranger.
- The ZB monk's bar would be: ZB, Mend, Gift, RoF, Spirt Bond, Signet of Devotion, Purge Signet, Soldier's Defense.
- The LoD Infuser would be: LoD, Infuse, Orison of Healing, Sig of Rejuvination, Mend Ailment, Smite Hex, Protective Spirit, Soldier's Defense.
- Would add a res sig or Flesh of My Flesh to the rit.

I can work out the attibutes later if we decide to try the build.

Dshot/savage would be another good choice for the ranger. Not as good for aux flagging, but it helps to take advantage of NR against hex teams. You probably saw the sin flagging when dash was vital for preventing a morale boost.

Life is another possibility for rit (although they were probably running a res if you didn't see anything used during the match)

Personally I like the build or something like it (rouge metagaming ftw!) so I'm for giving it a go. [Image: thumbsup.gif]

Distracting is useful, but I would think that between NR, Disrupting, and Power Leak you'd have enough to catch the really annoying hexes (aka Diversion and Shame) and not have too many issues. Natural Stride has more utility and makes life easier if you're going to be aux flagger.

Guessing at the attributes...

A/W:
Dagger: 15 (12 +2 +1); Crit: 13 (11 +2); Deadly: 6
Moebieus Strike, Death Blossom, Leaping Mantis Sting, Exhausting Assault, Dash, Impale, Flurry, Critical Eye

W/A:
Hammer: 16(12 +4); Str: 12
Devastating Hammer, Crushing Blow, Frenzy, Fierce Blow, Enraging Charge, Bull's Strike, Hammer Bash, Res Sig

P/Me:
Spear: 16 (12 +4); Leadership: 10 (9 +1); Command: 7 (6 +1); Dom: 6
Aggressive Refrain, Vicious Attack, Spear of Lightning, Barbed Spear, Anthem of Flame, Power Leak, Crippling Anthem, Signet of Return

P/W:
Spear: 16 (12 +4); Leadership: 10 (9+1); Motivation: 3; Tactics: 9
Anthem of Flame, Aggressive Refrain, Spear of Lightning, Wild Throw, Disrupting Throw, "It's Just a Flesh Wound!", "Watch Yourself!", Signet of Return

R/Mo:
Wilderness: 14 (12 +2); Expertise: 12 (9 +2 +1); Marksmanship: 9
Nature's Renewal, Tranquility, Whirling Defense, Dust Trap, Barbed Trap, Oath Shot, Natural Stride, Res Sig

Mo/W:
Prot: 14 (12 +2); DF: 10 (9 +1); Tactics: 9
Zealous Benediction, Mend Ailment, Gift of Health, Reversal of Fortune, Spirt Bond, Signet of Devotion, Purge Signet, Soldier's Defense

Mo/W:
Heal: 14 (12 +2); DF: 10 (9 +1); Prot: 3; Tactics: 9
Light of Deliverence, Infuse Health, Orison of Healing, Signet of Rejuvination, Mend Ailment, Smite Hex, Protective Spirit, Soldier's Defense.

Rt/E:
Restoration: 14 (12 +2); Air: 12
Weapon of Remedy, Soothing Memories, Mend Body and Soul, Protective was Kaolai, Storm Djinn's Haste, GoLE, Weapon of Warding, Flesh of My Flesh

Aside from the extra potency of the heals, there's not that much you're getting from being rit primary, although I don't think going ele primary for e storage is needed with Soothing Memories and the glyph. You just get an extra long Storm Djinn's. Although... now that I think about it, it might be worth it to go fire and use Flame Djinn's instead. Same speed boost and slightly lower duration (and an extra 5e to cast), but no energy drain.

edit: added the full builds to the post

Just saw [QQ] run 4 thumpers, 3 monks and a rt/e. It was pretty fun to watch.

One of the monks was RC, one was LoD, the other was Divert. I think all 3 monks had Aegis.

From what I remember, the rit bar was Warding, Remedy, Splinter, Ice Prison, Teinai's Prison, GoLE, Storm Djinn's. Didn't see the last skill so it might have been a res.

Thumpers were RaO w/Bestial Mauling, at least 1 had Bull's Strike.

When they had to split they would do either 4/4 or 5/3 depending on the situation.

Edit: Uh... lots of stuff.

PAL's running the same/similar build again.

The rit had Icy Shackles, Spirit Light, Weapon of Warding, Mend Body and Soul, GoLE, Bloodsong and Life this time.

Monks had:
- Dwayna's, Infuse, Words, Sig of Rejuv, LoD, Soldier's Defense and Disciplined Stance
- RoF, Gift, Purge Sig, ZB, Prot Spirit, Smite Hex.

The P/W was instead a P/Me. Both had GftE and Power Return. Their Leadership attribute was bumped up to 12 (saw them getting +6 from shouts/chants).

Assassin now has "Watch Yourself!" and still has Flurry, was still using the same dagger combo (with Critical Eye and Dash as the other 2 skills). Saw him using Flurry a lot more this time.

Ranger had Distracting Shot and a res sig.

That was all I was able to see before it went off observer.

Basically, it was the same build with some fine-tuning.

Edit: another interesting build I saw was Powerpuff Boys [PUFF] running 3 "Fear Me!" warriors with a Weapon of Fury rit playing support.

Edit 2: Added more skills.

This is just a heads-up for everybody. This Friday (Mar 30) I'll be at a talent show during our usual GvG time. Also some of the upcoming Friday's in April (incl the 20th and 27th) I'll be at dress rehearsals for concerts. I'll still be here when I can.
