I haven't even bought Warlords yet, so I don't entirely understand where you are coming from, Kronoz.

I'm wondering, what else would you like to see fixed in a patch?

Well, then you have probably noticed that the version you are playing has some flaws...no need for me to list them up, they have been discussed on this forum thoroughly.

Aside from game-feature issues, I personally have a technical problem regarding my GeForce 6800 graphics card. Or more spesific; the game has a problem with my graphics card. It would be nice if Firaxis adressed this in a patch, but I'm not holding my breath. Instead I am upgrading my machine.

While I have read about people having problems with 6800 cards, it doesn't apply to all 6800 cards (I have one too).. so the problem has to be only with certain brands of 6800 cards
(That is... I have no issues with my card if i have the 'high detailed terrain' option turned off... If i have it turned on I experience problems with military adviser, and experience long lockups if I also have map grids turned on.. the latter was fixed in 2.08 patch for me thou)

6800 here. The only problem I had was the disappearing of the mouse pointer, resolved by downgrading driver version. Now, I'm using the last version of the drivers and having no specific problems

I dont have any of the problems you list up...instead my machine crashes with the screen looking like it did when you loaded a Commodore64-game. After that a cold reboot is needed. With this happening randomly and quite frequently it did not take long for me to get fed up with warlords. I shelved it after just two games...(in hope of a new patch)

I also register you say that it works well with the newest drivers, but I experienced the opposite...in fact, when I used the drivers released about the time civ first was released (71.??) crashes was actually redused.

No sweath tho, a brand new GeForce 8800 GTS is ordered along with new motherbord and...yes the whole package. Expected to arrive in a week or two smile

No, chose the Asus-model, since the motherbord I ordered are from Asus(P5N32-sli). It may be superstition, but my thought is that components made from the same manufactor work better together.

Today I have a graphics card from XFX on a motherbord from Asus...maybe I wouldnt have technical issues if it was an Asus-card? I dont know.

Quick question on BTS, does anyone know/think they know if there will be any warlords content (ex: leaders/civs/great generals) in BTS or is it anyone's guess?

It is my assumption that the Warlords material will carry on into BTS, but I could be wrong.
