Great idea! You could call it "Survivor"! lol

I'll give it a shot after I finish the Adv 18. It's the first Epic since I discovered RB. As a Prince player, I think I'm not gonna make it, but... I never died in civ too! I always retired before it occurred. Let me see a new movie! thumbsup

Everybody with the time to play the game should do it.
I am considering myself a Monarch player only and actually walked away with a Deity win in Epic 4.
Variant rules / settings can significantly mix up the difficulty levels.
You loose on Prince, you win on Deity. It's Realms Beyond set difficulty levels. nod

Sulla, thanks for resuming the games here.

I am again tempted to buy a new computer just to play in these events. smile
(My absence is largely due to my video card going on strike last fall and refusing to play Civ4 no matter what I've tried. I struggled through Epic 9 with a headache-inducing screen, but had to stop after that.)

PS A bit of advice for player who've never tried Deity level before:
Read some Epic 4 reports. This game doesn't have Raging Barbs, but you still have to be ready for Deity-level barbarians. (If you don't want your game to be over in 3400BC, take a look at some early screenshots from Epic 4 reports.)
