Turn 3 - 3820BC
OK, turn played & sent on
OMG! I was worried that we'd have close neighbours, but NOT THAT CLOSE!
Dazed to the South-West & Celia to the East! maybe sending the PaulH south-west was a bad idea as he may encounter Dazed's Warrior next turn - he'll retreat back North. This confirms the wheel idea and plako's done well with his 72deg split [actually it looks closer to 80deg, but don't tell our rivals ] At least we don't have AGG Kyan next to us .. for now anyway as he'll rip through either Dazed or Celia if he gets the chance.
Anyway, do we abandon this farmer's gambit & build a Warrior next? I mean fully, not just 1 turn to grow & delay the Worker by 2 turns [work both Deer & Plains Hill after we grow to size 2] This amends Seven's plan as follows:
T3: 12/20 WB - 8/14 G - 36 C [Deer]
T4: 15/20 WB - 10/14 G - 45 C
T5: 20/20 WB - 10/14 G - 54 C [Plains Hill]
T6: 2/10 Warrior - 15/14 -> 1/16 G - 66 C [Rice & Fish]
T7: 8/10 Warrior - 1/16 G - 75 C [Deer & Plains Hill]
T8: 10/10 Warrior [4H overflow] - 1/16 G - 84 C
T9-13 @8h/turn Worker, 12 C ... [Rice & Fish]
T13 40/40 Worker - 1/16 G - 144 C
Only demo worth mentioning is that we are 4th in Land [joint-2nd actually] but all this means is we have 1 more land than 1 rival & 1 less than 2 rivals.

No. We're behind economically because we went workboat first anyway. The hammers won't decay, we can always crash out a warrior at any time.
Hopefully we'll have easy access to metal. That would make putting a city 1W of the rice a good idea.
What an odd map,

Between Worker & Settler then? Just in case we get a visit.

Like it .. a bit aggressive, think we'll get away with it?

Very. When we get the 2nd city built, on a coast, we could send out Work-Boats to explore; as it stands, no-one can attack those

Oh right, I meant we leaving a warrior in the queue after before starting the worker, and finishing the warrior after the worker appears.

Turn 4 - 3760BC [will go back & edit prev posts - done]
Sod it! Moved PaulH further west, just for giggles & he's uncovered ... another dry Rice! It's looking likely that e've got the only wet Rice at our capital Where PaulH is standing looks a good 3rd city site, probably best if our 2nd city is behind those mountains.
And now Demos:
Looks like our 2 Fishing-start rivals are speeding up their WBs this turn by working a Plains Hill, If this stays the same next turn is it likely that we'll be the first to size 2?

Ugh! Late night/early morning Civ ... great!!
Turn 5 - 3700BC
Apparently PaulH doesn't know his left tit from his right arse cheek ... oh well, at least contact's been made, we can start spending EPs & move on. PaulH; exit stage right [& up a bit] next turn.
Interesting note: we have Cows & Silk, I can see Sheep & Incense in what must be termed Dazed's land, wonder if the others have a different combination.
And demos:
Switched to working the Plains Hill this turn to finish WB @ EOT. Also Agriculture finishes as well ... score moved on to 39, same as Commodore & Celiazul [How did they get their WBs out that quick? Would the Soldier points also point to Mining first for them too?]

Turn 6 - 3640BC [not exactly an ideal 2-turn day]
WB in & Fish now improved [will be working that permanently for the Commerce] and building a Warrior for 1 turn, working said Fish, so city grows to size 2 @ EOT [+6 points!!!] Let's see who follows suit.
PaulH! PaulH! No, not that way!!!! Too late Oh well, in for a penny & all that, he's taken 2 steps closer:
Dammit!! It's undefended ... why couldn't I have started with a Warrior?? Now, do I leave him there, in an observation role obviously, but there's plenty of fog to uncover up north ... sigh!
And demos:
Actually top in 2 categories, although will share the Crop next turn as there are 2 others with Fish to fry
[although I did sneak a peak at demos after EOT, with size 2 up to 10 crop atm]

Oh yeah ... with turn 11 fast approaching, need to extend the macro.
Here's my suggestion:
Turn 6 - Warrior 2/10 - Fish* & Rice - Mining 17/47
Turn 7 - Worker 8/40 - F*+R - Mining 29/47 [may rotate Rice with Deer & Plains Hill as any 3 F/H tile will work]
Turn 8 - Worker 16/40 - F*+R - Mining 41/47
Turn 9 - Worker 24/40 - F*+R - Mining 47/47 [6 over]
Turn 10 - Worker 32/40 - F*+R - BW 18/114
Turn 11 - Worker 40/40 - F*+R - BW 30/114
Turn 12 - Warrior 5/10 - Fish* & Deer - BW 42/114 - Growth 6/16
Turn 13 - warrior 8/10 - F*+D - BW 54/114 - G 11/16
Turn 14 - Warrior 10/10 [1 over] - F*&D - BW 66/114 - G 16/16 [size 3]
Turn 15 - Settler 10/65 - Fish*+Deer*+Rice - BW 78/114
Turn 16 - Settler 19/65 - F*+D*+R - BW 90/114
Turn 17 - Settler 28/65 - F*+D*+R - BW 102/114
Turn 18 - Settler 37/65 - F*+D*+R - BW 114/114
Turn 19 - Settler 48/65 - F*+D*+R* - Wheel 12/56
Turn 20 - Settler 59/65 - F*+D*+R* - Wheel 24/56
Turn 21 - Settler 65/65 [5 over] - F*+D*+R* - Wheel 36/56
* denotes improved - can improve & work either Deer or Rice first, as 4/1/0 & 5/0/0 are same without EXP.
Then what? Warrior? Worker?

Turn 7 - 3580BC [OMG!! 3 turns within 24 hours!!!]
Sod it, had a beer so decided I'll let PaulH harass Dazed's capital. He can stay on the Rice tile until I see a Warrior, then he'll leg it!!
5-turn Worker set going, working the Fish & Deer this turn. Hmm, someone is trying to look FIN by working another Water tile as well as the Fish [either Commodore or Celiazul as both got 6 points last turn; guess that's coz they grew to size 2 too]

Turn 8 - 3520BC
No sign of a Warrior appearing in Dazed's capital, so PaulH can continue to rest on the dusty paddy-field this turn - gimping his growth if nothing else.
Ooh, is that a darker shade of green I see? Must be Kyan; would like to send PaulH down to investigate, but I fear Dazed's starting Warrior went south & I'd hate for them to meet in some dark mountain pass.
Switched from Deer to Rice this turn, that'll fool anyone analysing demos.
