I'll be there at 8pm (NY) Thursday and on RB's team speak
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Just had a very fun 2 games ... me v Sunrise. Both games he had the metals on his side and in the first game I didn't even have horses. The second game was much closer ... me with Horses v sunrise with 1 exposed iron mine. Pillage, reconnect, whip spears, pillage, back and forth.
I eventually sneaked a settler to the other source of Iron (bottom Right of map) which I don't think sunrise saw. Settled on the iron and started to mass produce axes ... just in time because sunrise rolled up with 5 swords, 3 spears and 2 skirmishes. My two axes and 4-5 archers took the honors that day. In the mean time, my other city had produced two axes that were trying to sneak down the West side of the map to take out sunrises spear protecting his iron. I don't know if sunrise saw that coming or not.
Fun game ... 1-1. Back tomorrow for more.

Sorry if we missed you Danski.
Ruff_Hi and I played a pair of games. The first saw me with a grade A capital, horses, and metal, playing as Hatty. Ruff's start point wasn't as generous, and he gratefully conceeded things when I brought my war chariots into play.
The second game saw me with the metal again, but otherwise not so hot lands. I had no easily accessable horses or copper, but did have iron where I placed my second city. Ruff once again had no metal that I could see. The midgame saw a proacted battle with Ruff's mounted troops clashing with my Skirmishers (I was Mansa) and Spearmen (when I could keep the iron hooked up). Eventually I built an attacking stack of swords, but upon arrival at Ruff's capital I noticed he had Axes defending. He had been a better scouter than me, and had founded a city to grab copper. My stack gloriously suicided off his defenders, and at that point I admitted defeat (hunger called).
Hopefully we can get some more players tomorrow. I know Ruff and I should both be back. See you then (I hope).

Um.... me to. To tell you the truth I was hoping you guys wouldn't be around until 8. I wanted to uninstall Vanilla and Warlords, and then just reinstall 1.61. I'm getting that %&#^ Modded game message, and am at a loss of what I'm doing wrong at this point. I figure an uninstall and then reinstall to a second hard drive will fix the problem.....it had better.
I don't have time to do that in 4 minutes though

Well I got tired of all the dropping/lagging etc so I left.
I don't think I'll touch multi again unless its an all RB game

Well guys that was fun....ish. It was nice having four RB guys in a game, but the technical issues (many of which were my fault) sucked. If you guys would like to play again in the coming weeks I would still like to. Not only will my game be reinstalled, but I'll take my PC over to a friend's house and use reliable cable internet rather than darn Clearwire Wireless Broadband.
