I'm no admin/moderator here but any information about your game shouldn't be discussed before report day. The information might not be helpful/unhelpful to other players of an event, but its not a hard rule to stick to.
Edit your post before someone else does, it makes you look better!

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but that's still spoiler information. If you go back and read some of the always war reports, from CIV and Civ3, you will hopefully see several reports from players who died very early on. While it's certainly very frustrating, particularly when the game is still open for weeks, there's still hopefully a lot that you can learn from your game if you decided to report and compare notes with other players.
I just wanted to post a quick "thank you" for this Epic. It's one of the types of events that I've been hoping to play.
I don't know if I'll be able to finish the game in time, but I have started it and will report on how far I get. Looking forward to reading others' reports too.
I am writing this during an in-between turn. It has already been going for 30 minutes. I have a fairly fast computer. Why oh why did I not turn on quick combat: defence
 ? Anyway, game should be complete by tomorrow, report to be written over the weekend. The title "Epic" does not come close to an accurate description of this game. I would like to echo compromise's "Thank You".
Can you specify Quick Combat for only defence? And does that change the mechanics of combat, or just the animation.

It just affects the animation. However, beware that you don't get a zoom of where the action - you can review this by opening the log and clicking on an entry.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.
