Hi, I didn't get close to finishing my game. Sorry for asking you mail me a start file and not delivering a report - I did intend to play but epic 10 took much longer than I expected and I was left with only a week to play this. Coupled with having a heavy workload this week, I was only able to play until about 0AD.

My tech was astronomy. I founded my capital city on the coast and built a work boat, 2 mines and a marble quarry. This was enough production to build a galleon. After a trip to the other continent containing (Settler, Archer, Archer), then returning to transport (Worker, Worker, Archer) over, I abandoned my capital to the barbarians. I had set up 4 cities on my new world colony before I abandoned the game. Twas a shame, but that epic 10 was really a monster.

I'll be submitting a full shadow-report, but I'm in about the same boat. I asked for my save file very late (thanks for still sending it Sulla) and also picked Astronomy. I played a mild self-imposed variant where I wanted to colonize the other continent, and had some very poor AI war luck. I never lost a city or anything, but I do think I was declared on 5 times by the time I ran out of time to play earlier tonight. I developed a decent empire in the main continent, and would have probably won a Space victory, but was loosing badly in my quest to conquer the New world. Fully developed Barbs are absolutely brutal - I founded and lost four cities in a row in the new world, including one on a hill defended by 3 City Garrison longbows - rough. Anyways, as I said I'll have a bit more detailed report up. Thanks again for the save Sulla!

Evacuation of the main continent sounds like a funny idea. A shame you couldn´t see it through.
