WW11 - Civilization

Sorry to clarify the fact i knew his role was probably right didnt effect the likelyhood of him being a wolf or not, as the role would have been given before the sides.

The fact that he torpedoed the strength of the power may be a factor however

Some cross-posting. lol This is the only issue I cross-posted with. I am aware of this--I think it is pretty clear reading my above post.

Ok, 2 hours to go, massive bandwagon on me for no real good reasons, and 2 hours isnt a long time given I need to head to bed soon.

Some villager always dies randomly day 1, seems this time its me.

Come day 2 I would look at how Gaspar directed attention towards me and how Selrahc pushed a few times regarding my power.

MJW seems bandwagonning a bit now, but that could be he gets his power.

Not much more to add than this other than you have this one wrong

Meiz Wrote:I'd understand this if it was a general comment regarding Catwalks play regarding anyone, but you pointed it specifically on him voting against you. As a villager, if he would suspect you as a wolf, from your point of view he should still not cry about it, since he is wrong and directs the attention away fro mthe real targets. If the history of you two is making him trust you more, why would you mind that at all?

This was meant to read, that Catwalk should be suspicious of anyone who he had previously been involved in games with not specifically me. I replied using myself because that was following on from his example. To be honest I didn't really think of the connotation you are suggesting, i.e. it might cause him to go on a distracting sidequest for me when other people are the wolves.
I had just reasoned that if he was trusting me from other games then maybe he was doing that elsewhere.

There are 3 hours left. And tasunke was competive with you for a long time. I might switch back to tansunke if something silly happens.

I didn't want your power. I wanted your objective. That's a very different thing.

Giving up your roles potential, particularly since it's the very easily faked "Same as that other guy", doesn't really tell me anything.

Confirmation of MJW's take on the "Feud" would have been very helpful, and would have allayed a lot of my fears about a dangerous third party win objective in the offing.

Neither you nor MJW should have revealed the night kill prevention part of the power. Revealing that in thread is a sure fire way to make it valueless. The only reason to do it is as a lie, when your real power is actually something else. I was holding out hope that this was the case with MJW, but your exasperated echoing of his claim makes me lose a lot of that hope.

If the choice is between killing Jkaen to power up MJW or killing MJW to power up Jkaen well, I'd rather power up Jkaen. But instead I guess I'll just treat this like I did the elf feud and get the hell out of the quagmire. I don't think Tasunke is guilty, just confused.

I'm down for scooter .

lol Scooter is acting like his normal self. Why are you dumping you vote on him?

Some thought before I'm reduced to post from a friends phone which is a thing I'm absolutly unconfortable with so don't expect any long essays from me after this one.

There are some things I find odd: First Jkaen with his 'I might have a powerrole' followed with 'I don't say I have one but a pure villlager would post more aggressivly' then 'ok i have the same power as MJW'.

Second curious and suspicious player is Gaspar.
Posting sensible posts instead of raging against the voters if he belöieves they vote for a villager is strange for gaspar. The fact that he tries to cosy up to me (with his explanation why I might post less than usual). OTOH I'm the president of the 'Gaspar is a wolf'-club so I might be biased here.

MJW Wrote:2. He also gave up his "power" too early. 3+ hours is forever in this game.
You that claimed your power 3 hours into the game with no thread at all ridicule Jkaen who gives it up beeing near the chop with 3 hours left?huh
Have you gone completly bonkers? Out of principle I should vote for you.

4th and still slowcheetah.Reason: His first vote vs me. He later claimed it for RP-reasosn but sorry he is Aztek so nobody shares his religion. I rather think that he get told by his buddies that rowain is an easy target who usually gets lynched before day3 anyway.

About the don't kill newbies: Plain simple It is idotic to not vote for someone you think a wolf just because he is a new player. A wolf is a wol. He might even have some special powers that wreak havoc in the village (jkaens power and my own from last game come to mind). Not killing sunrise in WW2 (as Selrahc wished) allowed the seer sunrise to scan the wolf uberfish. While it was good for the village that time it shows the dangers to have pity for your foes.

You don't have a baseline on scooter, don't pretend you do. He lasted all of 1 day in the sum total of all our WW games as a villager. Every other time he was a wolf.

Basically, I thought he seemed quite focused and intelligent that one day. During the past two NA nights I thought he seemed like he was flailing around a bit, which is how I would characterize his WW play in 7. His earlier werewolf play was more direct and grating, but I assume he's learned to correct that since he is a pretty sharp guy.

I have no marvelous insight, but I don't believe Jkaen or Tasunke to be guilty and its more important that I vote away from people I think are innocent than it is I necessarily nail a NAP member. Obviously ideally I'd do both, but its day one. As said earlier, I could be talked into others, I just haven't seen anyone doing so. And I could be talked into voting for you based pretty solely on the fact that I'll have more fun for the rest of the game not getting irritated with you. wink
