Are you not? Do you fear it might heart the village? If so why?

For me this game reminds me alot of the FFH-WW were the wolves had some very revealing names. In fact some were cought by them.

So maybe we have revealing startingtechs here too and/or maybe one scanner who might find someone lying about it.

It is a shoot in the dark but there is currently very little information for us to go on in this game. For me lack of information/ lack of openess helps the wolves far more than the village.

Quite.

My starting tech relates to my role. I would rather not give bad guys cryptic clues to guess my role with.

So unless someone can point out a way technologies can be used to wolf hunt, I think it is best if we don't try and indulge our curiosities at the expense of the game.

How are the posts where you demand responses and dictate proper behaviour attempts to take control? I think it's pretty self explanatory.

It's not even werewolf hunting. You're just discussing game theory. You've decided that discussion of suspicions is wrong if the vote is split, and you're calling people to task on it. But you don't seem to have any reasoning behind it, and have actually said "I thought this was accepted opinion" in a way that looks very much like you were making an effort to be "Constructive" in a way that didn't stand out, but fluffed it because you incorrectly judged things.

Just, the more I look at Catwalk the more wolfish I think he is. I can't believe he is doing all of this stuff by accident. There has to be malevolent designs behind it.

Sorry I call BS on that. I bet you can't gues what my power is called and what it does. And I'm equally sure that holds for any of the revealed techs so far.

Of course if you can prove to me that Meiz's starting tech of Horeseback Riding leads to his power (demanding tribute ) and how you jump from that powers-name to what it really did i would retract anything.

Your werewolf role you mean? Meiz's sure had nothing to do with it... Rowain's given us his and I can't think of what that would have to do with it either. Mine is Feudalism, which again is just Japan flavor - just like Meiz (HBR) was Mongolia flavor, Rowain (Theology) was HRE flavor, slowcheetah (Poly) is Aztec flavor. How exactly does that help werewolves? It doesn't. So you saying your starting tech relates to your role sounds like a lie when so far when all 5 starting techs that we are aware of so far are just Civ flavor. I have an ability (as it seems everyone does) and my starting tech has zero to do with it. Seems to be the case for everyone - or at least all villagers.

So that seems to imply that you're either lying or you're REALLY hiding something. Either way, I'm going back to Selrahc.

My power name is very similar to my tech name.

To the extent that if my power was say... "Animal Hunting" my starting tech would be "Hunting".

So yes. If I say my starting tech, there is a chance that the werewolves can infer something about my role. Since the net gain for *revealing* this information is zero, I think it is a stupid reveal to make.

Let's look at it this way. As far as I'm concerned, the only reason Rowain was asking for starting techs was curiosity. Right?

Given that I know for a *fact* that my starting tech relates to my power name, I would rather not be throwing that information out to satisfy curiosity. Give an actual reason, and I'll consider it.

Ah. Didn't see that.

I don't really agree that starting tech is the same thing. I mean... what sort of starting tech can a wolf even have that would be revealing?

I did mention that my starting tech clues in on my power back during day 1, when starting techs were first brought up. This isn't something I've just brought up, and I was actually assuming it was the standard.

Thread today so far: blah, blah, blah.

I do appreciate that slowcheetah has picked up his contributions.

I'll join zakalwe on Ichabod, since it seems scooter has used his personal ability "Have all the pressure come on you too early" to slip the knot yet again.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
