This comment/response assumes Ichabod's guilt, if he's innocent chuck this all out, as it destroys the Novice/Ichabod causality which the Zakalwe/Novice causality depends upon.

I'd say that if Ichabod is guilty we can clear both Zakalwe and Novice on the following points.
Novice is cleared b/c both he and Ichabod have confirmed a non-alignment-knowing mason pair between them, and pairing two wolves is just like giving them no powers each. It might be a bit meta, but I think that unless the GM really wanted to mess with role-ecology-style thinking like this, it is exceedingly unlikely to the point of being impossible that
both Novice and Ichabod are wolves.
Zakalwe is cleared if Ichabod is guilty b/c it's a massive push against interest if Zakalwe is also a wolf. This is b/c a wolf-Zak
knows that Ichabod is an unknown mason with Novice, so setting Ichabod up like this is going to lead inevitably to clearing Novice,
and he exposes himself to your idea of a Selrahc-Zakalwe-Ichabod axis because his actions clearly saved Selrahc today. I don't think a wolf-Zak would take that deal (it's a bad one IMO) so I'm left to conclude that if Ichabod is a wolf, then both Zakalwe and Novice are cleared.
