Same here.
I don't know if a claim is worth much. It might be better to let the wolves have to night-kill us to find out that we have crappy roles.

Should we claim, novice? Our roles are pretty useless and maybe it'd make sense for somebody regarding the way we played.
By the way, my starting tech is optics. Do you have the same? Is there a problem if I claim it?

Yeah, pretty useless day. Rowain is just his usual suspicious self plus he had that MJW vote at the end of day 1. I've shied away from vote races as a wolf myself, it's a pretty tempting (but stupid) thing to do.
I was hoping Rowain would pick up more votes so I could have the option of switching to Gaspar. No dice yet.

Hey, novice, I'm at a lost right now. There's just a huge amount of non-important things being discussed in the thread. Good thing is that I suspect the players being voted right now. I'll be back later to maybe change my vote, but for now it keeps on Gaspar. Do you have anything to point out? It seems to me we had 72h of nothing (I shouldn't have spent so much time answering to Zak and Gaspar, I just repeated everything like 10 times). What's the amin things about the case against Rowain? I admit that my suspicions against him aren't that strong, he just seem to be holding back more, only responding when adressed, like he played in the roleplay WW.

Yes, Gaspar is my preferred lynch target. But I don't see it getting much traction. That's why I want to hear more about Selrahc, Rowain and Lewwyn. Regarding Catwalk, I may be once again suspecting him because we think in very different ways, but he still sound a bit off.
Your comment on Lewwyn was my thoughts exactly. The drunk posts were the ones that really put this in evidence. They sounded like trying too hard. Both him and Rowain seem to only appear when someone accuses them of something. After that, they hide again. I feel bad about calling people when they could just be occupied, but it's a bit strange.
The bad thing is the 72h days. I don't know if I'll be avaiable tomorrow when everyhting will come down to flames near the deadline. I thought the deadline would be today and I cleared a bit of my schedule to be on. If you want to help putting some extra pressure in gaspar, I wouldn't mind. But its only worth if you suspect him, because I don't think a wolf gaspar would lose his nerve. And the votes are so split today that there's no telling what will happen tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised if slowcheetah, sareln or cyneheard get lynched just because of lack of activity. Strange as it may sound, there doesn't seem to be much suspicious going in the game.

Lewwyn is still a bit suspicious, IMO. His posts seem well designed to fit his own stereotype. Tantrums and drunken posts. And his Mardoc expose could have been a harmless way for a wolf to put in a lot of visible work and gain credibility.

So is Gaspar your preferred lynch today? Remind me again, who are your other suspects?
I'm reading along but not getting much wiser. So I'm happy again to vote for information and not only suspicion. Would voting on the same target be useful for building trust between us?

I have to agree with Lewwyn that Jkaen is a good player. But as long as day 1 go, he was the most suspicious for me. Looks like all I managed with that "fake vote" was to hardly outsmart myself.*
I still don't understand what was so suspicious about scooter. I have to confess that I only read the thread once and I was a bit frustrated with Gaspar at one point, but all I remember is they say he was acting like WW7 and I don't agree with it. And saying that "when you were a villager you were pretty good at finding wolves" is unfair, especially for day 1. There wasn't any revealed roles yet. I understand your reasoning of revealing the alignment of the player you, Gaspar and Zakalwe were voting for, but this isn't a compelling reason for a lynch alone. Besides, the way things are going, we are going to find out soon enough.
And speaking of the third most voted: what did you think about Tasunke's last posts? Did you find anything strange?

I still think Jkaen appears to be suspicious and I don't like the other proposed targets (scooter, tasunke don't seem suspicious to me and I haven't payed much attention to slowcheetah). I also don't know why people have to get mad at the game, this is very unfair, in my opinion.
I'd be up for a Gaspar vote too, but this outburst of rage makes me have a bitter taste.

I believe JKaen. I'm voting Scooter now as he's an ok lynch and getting a town read on Gaspar would be good. And if he flips villager we get to lynch Gaspar.

The last part sounds a bit scummy by me... Hope you understand my intentions though.

Jkaen claims that he has the same power that MJW. I can actually believe in this claim, but based on what we know of our abilities, I wouldn't say it makes it not possible for him to be a wolf. Unfortunately, there's no way to say this in the public thread without revealing our ability. Not that we would lose a lot by doing it, though.

By the way, I agree with your conclusions based on your vote on me. The only thing I add is that Zakalwe really values everything you say and the votes you make, so I'd expect him to comment on it, even if it was a bad reasoned one. He did, even though he didn't say your name. So I guess that is a neutral response. Since he asked you a question about the vote change later, that is a villager behaviour. I'd expect him to try and be more friendly to you if he was a wolf.
Anyway, what I can add is my thoughts about Jkaen, that I said in the thread. What do you think of that?

By the way, what do you think about that last Tasunke/MJW exchange?*
Tasunke votes for Cyneheard. MJW votes for Cyneheard, without giving much thoughts. Tasunke replied by asking why MJW was so sure about Cyneheard.*
But MJW didn't say he was dead set on Cyneheard being a wolf, at least not from what I understand. And why would you vote first, without any reasons, and then ask a subsequent voter about reasons to vote for who you voted?
It's all very strange, but I guess a lot of it is due to the players in question. Worth noticing, though, that MJW kind of gave an answer to Tasunke's question. I cannot recall MJW answering a lot of questions, he always seem to be off of what's being said and asked. Not sure if it's possible to call MJW post a response...
The fact is that the whole exchange seemed strange to me. What do you think?

I wanted to see how some people would react, especially Jkaen, Scooter and Cyneheard, that previously voted for me with joke/random votes. If they suddenly transformed those votes into "real votes" due to your vote, it'd be very suspicious. I also wanted to see if others would follow your vote, especially the players that are jumping a lot.
But scooter kind of ruined the plan when he posted before you, saying that I looked innocent. That was a pity.
Up to you if you want to leave your vote in me. I think we can get more information if you leave it, though. There's too much "concentration" in the votes right now (in the votes with reasoning, I mean) and a lot of votes in the usual suspects (the player who easily hang themselves). I think leaving an unexpected vote can at least create some discussion. Well, at least the lack of discussion about it can be considered information too. Anyway, if you want to change it, that's fine too. Like I said, scooter post was very inconvenient for the strategy to work.

What do you mean by "stoop"? Is it just a typo of "stop" (since you made it twice, I don't think it is)? I couldn't understand the sentence with the meanings google provided me.
I think the fake attack is good. I think it's better if you make it during a slightly bigger post, where you comment on other things, just so it doesn't seem so out of the blue.

Maybe it's silly but I actually find Scooter's first post scummy. Voting for the game admin, an obligatory joke vote but one that doesn't tie him to any players. Where's the joke in voting Uberfish anyway - do they have a vendetta from earlier, and/or did Uberfish do anything "bad" during the setup?
Maybe the joke's supposed to be that scooter's unhappy with his assigned role.

But I wouldn't say it's useless. People tend to ignore a lot of what is posted in the thread (I have a feeling that sometimes people hardly read what I write), so at least it's easier to bounce some ideas here.

By the way, I thought Tasunke's post was weird too. The wording sounded a bit of trying too hard to justify his vote, but I guess that maybe he only meant that he agrees with Lewwyn vote.
I wouldn't have called Tasunke on it, though. If he kept going with every dogpile in the beginning and later stopped doing it, he could have been coached by the wolves not to do it. Now, if he starts playing more defensively, it can be just because he was called on it in the beggining.
