Rowain - who did you check out last night? It sounds as if you're hinting you checked someone out who had a non-Civ4 tech.

My point is I can't see any conceivable reason that a baner would chose Catwalk to protect tonight given the available choices.
My only thinking was based on what I imagined Catwalk's role to be and the reason that while we don't know if Catwalk is innocent, the wolves do. But yes, you're pretty much right (I shouldn't be posting in this game right before bed), though it actually probably doesn't even matter as much in light of Rowain's recent claim. Crazy game. Baner can has so many options that he'll have to get pretty lucky to make a save.

Yeah, had the same thought here.

Sort of. I was at work, so I did my usual pop out a few times and check the thread on my phone. Since I was already on the correct candidate and you all appeared to have the matter in hand I didn't see a need to jump in and vote. Mostly I was just pleased that my wolf-dar is indeed not completely broken.
zakalwe Wrote:Both Novice and Ichabod had the same tech, and they had the same power but not the same alignment. So I believe techs correlate with powers, but not with alignment. I doubt Rowain will catch anyone lying about them.
Yeah, this. I mean excellent work if it works, but I can't understand why people are falling all over themselves in giddy excitement that we have a tech seer here. And I think its infinitely more useful as a wolf power to suss out say, a baner. Not saying that's what it is - I've largely read village on Rowain, but that's my gut on it.
As for my starting tech, I'd bet you could all guess it without even trying. Go ahead...
Were you right? I bet you were. Have a cookie, straight from my gulag.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Private communications do not count as night actions.
I wonder who asked and when. And of course why. The 'masons' don't exist any longer and the wolves would clear that internal.
Is there is a contacter anywhere?
About the techs:
So it looks like we do have a full set now. At least everybody has claimed a tech.
Now the wolves of course guessed already whom i had checked last night and knew they could tell any tech they wanted (that was not so hard to do afterall).
Equally there are already one or another setting the stage to ridicule any usefulness. Even hinting that I might be a wolf.

If this is directed at me, I don't think you're a NAP member, Rowain. I just want to make sure we don't lose our healthy sense of skepticism.

You have to admit, if you're fake claiming it's the best fake claim ever

The only reason I was making a fuss was because it relates to the name and function of my power. I didn't even make the "Non-Civ IV tech" connection until it was mentioned.
Why didn't you claim a powerrole like catwalk did when you were close to the gallows?

Because my role is at best moderately useful. Since this is a game where everybody has a power role, I don't think I've got the kind of role worth disrupting the lynch process over. I'd imagine you wouldn't advocate fakeclaiming a powerful role as a villager.
We're getting close to the point where I might as well just reveal it. The wolves already know that I don't value my role highly, and since I'm probably amongst the favourites to be mislynched right now they won't want to night kill me. I'm not sure there is much value in keeping it hidden any more.
