scooter wanted me to claim my role yesterday when there really was no need to, still another 2h or so to go and votes were moving away from me. His argument that the wolves knew all they needed. Seemed a very silly statement to make, either anti-town villager or obvious wolf.

From what he said its basically whoever he chooses. Doesn't matter if its a wolf or a villager. I suppose its like a triggered vig.

What really confuses me, though, is that you're accusing me based on the action I regret the least, putting pressure on people and (I think, but we'll know in a few hours) fingering a wolf on day 1 with only gut feel behind me. You're not accusing me based on me letting myself be persuaded that both scooter and Ichabod were innocent, or for missing Ichabod's lynch.
I think you're working backward from 'what if scooter's innocent', and not forward from 'what does a wolf look like'. I'm pretty sure I'll be exonerated this afternoon when scooter hangs and grows fur.
Why? Well, honestly, this situation is a LOT different than your self-vote in WW1. In WW1, IIRC, you voted to save a claimed seer, and only picked yourself because you were second in line. Here, scooter's voting himself because he's doomed no matter what he does, and he's tired of fighting. It means a lot less when it's a result of quitting instead of a result of trying to save a power role.

What I'm more scared about is if he has an ability that triggers on lynch. A fairly common wolf ability is to get a free kill chosen from those who lynch you, and that would fit right into the "Vengeance" name, a lot more than the claimed "Kill some random schmoe if you get killed" would. The suicide play he is doing at the moment would also make perfect sense, as he lures everybody in the village onto the wagon, so that he has full target selection.
It might actually be wise if Novice, as the most confirmed villager, steps off the wagon. Just in case.

That seems rather plausible, actually. Only makes sense for the confirmed villagers to step off if we're sure scooter actually hangs, though, so as a non-confirmed, I'll commit now to leaving my vote where it is.

That is a possibility Selrahc the other is that he is in real the Possessed so he wouldn't care whom he takes with him if he dies at night (not so fitting the title vengenace but possible).
Your powerexplanation or him beeing Possessed would explain what bugged me abit: Why scooter (who knows how to play as wolf) would play that badly and constantly draw suspicion onto him.

YOu have no power left but you are the one no doubt villager we have here. Besides the loss of you (your logic and insights) would hurt the village a lot.
