On the other hand, it's not like you've found anyone to go all zulu on, anyway.

Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore |
[spoilers]Commodore is Tokugawa of Zulu, or, playing for second place.

Such a bummer. Check out what we found here:
Mr. Chm Cataphracts himself, Cyneheard. The distance is just about perfect for an impi rush too, sadly. If copper was around...yeah, it's going to be a hard choice between IW and AH next, I think. Maybe fishing woven in soon too. As far as the warrior: Gaspar Wrote:The TokuZulu Solution: Unless Cnyeheard got himself some very close copper already hooked up, this is going to be a very fun little choke. No chance of a kill, sadly, in this era of slavery and size 2+ capitals. But unless he's playing very high risk or very high caution, he's gonna lose that corn.

So we have an awesome capital. Ignore the current build, we're polishing off the second worker right now with the 10/15 warrior available as insurance. We'll be finishing the warrior the turn after the worker is done, then two turns into a granary as we grow to size three. After that, revolt to BW, enjoy a two-turn settler, and figure out what hills are most likely to pop metal. Just need that copper.

Right, so, hit Cyneheard's borders, and the choice was fairly obvious: CHARGE!
I've been careful to play after Cyneheard to remove any potential double-move situation, so how about a moral test? Empty capital ho! If his warrior is far away, I expect to contend with just a single inexperienced, unfortified warrior, which would give Mr. Shock here ~1 in 4 odds to cap the cap. If Cyneheard has his warrior in range...sigh, oh well. I'd rather lose the shot than be something awful like Lord Parkin. I see a ton of activity in Cyneheard's thread, think I should post something to avoid giving him an ulcer? If there are two warriors, it'll be a bit of a choice. I want to at least pillage both farms, but thanks to that road I can't do that safely yet, as a third warrior built at the capital could enable him to slam a couple warriors into Thump without worry from two tiles away. So I think if he manages two warriors in his capital I'll pillage the road there first before moving on to the corns.

Lacking lurker feedback one way or another, I'm going to go for a golden rule mention of this on the tech thread.

Depression hurts. That's two warriors in Springfield. So no, not taking it. Meh, well, possible choke at least...
Yeah. If I don't find copper soon there's not much point here.

I'm sorry if these updates have been short and hopeless, but that's how the turns have been. Rego/Pin made contact but then fled, so either with a workboat or a scout. Either is plausible. They on city number 2, no surprise. SNL theme, or gameshow theme?
Meanwhile, the search for copper finds... Oh, and I checked...Cyneheard got at least 4xp from killing the shock warrior, so he's either coming for me slowly with a shock Juggernaut, or quickly with a Woodie II PITA.

Still cannot find copper. Lost settler to a wolf in the one tile I couldn't see. I know I've botched some starts in my day, but this one takes the cake. Personal worst!
