Let me see if I can catch us back up on reporting. On the turn before our borders popped, I moved our slow-movers up and built the road.
Selected: The medic who is about to get his stethoscope tangled up in the reins, be ripped overboard and trampled by his own horse team while attempting to provide ambulance service to a fatally wounded enemy soldier.
Turn after:
Remember that road I pillaged earlier and you rebuilt? Maybe you shouldn't have rebuilt it. Surprise!
The painful but successful attack followed. The only combat since then has been the killing of that archer camping on the hill. We sacced a 0xp archer against it and then cleaned up with the GG spear. I had thought that the Leadership promo would give us double the great general points because he'd earn double the experience, but it doesn't work that way.
I thought that was a bad promo but wow, it's actually completely useless. So we are currently 1xp short of our next great general.
I took some screens on t115 which is 1AD.
Feels good to be home.
We were actually #1 in GNP one turn, while teching Math at about 100bpt. But that is with approximately 0 growth and MFG in almost all our cities (running as many caste system specialists and possible), so that's not really sustainable.
Plako's galley said hi. But when we moved an archer and a horse archer into the city which already had a spear, he turned around. We decided to speed up sailing so he can't harass us navally with impunity, so we got it shortly before finishing math, and have 2 galleys coming out now.
Not much has happened since then. We've founding Time Walk at the deer/cow spot (the settler was actually going to go a bit south to claim fish and a single flood plains tile, but that plan was postponed a bit due to the existence of Plako's galley, so we settled here first instead).
Shortly after founding, Time Walk was attacked by a Tornado from the heavens. Our people, hopelessly bereft of any real religion, have been praying for the tornado to return ever since.
