Yes MNG was the fool in WW5 and got under pressure (and was an on and off candidate) and finally killed on day1 there.
Difference is I never got wolfvibes from him then. This time he feels more like th wolf from 4 to me than as the PR in 5. This is of course no hard evidence and I might be wrong.

And for the actual game:
Tasunke
No reason apart from him being quiet. And I really would like to hear something from him before this day is over. Alternatively I'll happily vote for Commodore.

This. Problem for me was I thought he was innocent both times.
This time I don't.
And catwalk, pling hit the nail on the head.

I also mostly agree with Catwalk that we should look for players "blending in". Problem is, that is by definition the majority of the players. For me, this is more of an end-game technique, where if you look back you'll start to see a pattern where certain players just cruise along, but there really is no concrete reason to believe they are innocent. In the early game, I feel the BS methodology is superior.

What is significant about Tasunke voting for Ichabod, and how does that tie into a possible 2 wolf pack setup?
Very apt characterization of uberfish and Serdoa, btw.

That was a bit oblique wasn't it?
I thought Tasunke's target being Ichabod was worth mentioning, as if Tasunke was parking his vote somewhere "safe" before running off to hide again, my first instinct was that parking it on a fellow wolf wouldn't be safe and might require an undignified scramble at Day end - so if Tasunke, then less likely to be Ichabod. But further thought told me this isn't necessarily the case (what's one vote at that point, plenty of time to have a fake epiphany later, good cover if needed in future, etc). And then more thought said - if we do have 2 wolf packs, then they could be different packs and so actually it really doesn't say much in itself. But it still tips the balance for me personally a bit, so I didn't just delete it out of my post, instead I tried to be clear about the various caveats as I saw them. What it boiled down to though is that the three votes on Ichabod at the moment are something I saw as a joke and/or required-vote (Tasunke), an initial joke with belated justification (Sareln) and novice (looking for reactions? it seems to be an if not Serdoa, then perhaps Ichabod idea). And none of that tips me away from my Tasunke is out-of-character vote, particularly onto someone I find very hard to read (in a telling-alignment sense) but who is often useful if he is village.

In the interest of getting more information, Commodore is a fine vote.

I took the liberty of reminding him just now, since I happen to have his personal email account from when we were wolves together.

And then the retreat from it, calling it 'one shade above joke' or something along those lines, without actually changing her vote. I don't see how clarifying thinking is a wolfy thing to do, frankly. I'd rather argue about who's a wolf than what Noble might have done.
And I think there's been time to come up with something better than 'almost a joke'. No opinion on the uber-Serdoa spat, Pling? Or even a desire to put pressure somewhere it could stick? Mardoc Wrote:You can tell it's not doing much by the way Meiz doesn't bother to defend himself anymore after this post.
I did post after this, http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...post240016 . As for pling, I didn't see her vote as an "almost joke", but rather as an attempt to bring something more concrete than random to the table.
I voted Catwalk to push him above others and to get an reaction. I feel like his style would be quite hard to replicate as a wolf. Not reading that wolfish at the moment, more like his normal self.
The thing with Tasunke is that his villager style kind of reminds me of Catwalk's style. I'd imagine it quite hard to replicate as a wolf. Extra quiet start by wolf Sareln (referring to last game) is quite logical, but for Tasunke it's simply asking for trouble. He might genuinely be busy. I feel like we should give him a little bit more time and see how he actually plays the game, since I believe his villager style could be recognized more easily than others.
I agree with the general thought that the wolf styles depend completely on the player. It's impossible to categorize common wolf behavior because of this. Ultimately it comes down to who is helpful and who only tries to appear as one
Uberfish posted this before the villager pm was visible for everyone: http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...post239909 . Quite a risk for a wolf? The rules talk about werewolves but for villager win they state: 17. The village wins when all non-villagers are dead.
One thing that stands out for me is Ichabod's vote on Mardoc. If the idea is to bring a new name to the table and to build some pressure, it would make sense to actually say something to convince others. I'm referring to the post http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...post240254. Seems like a pointless vote to make.

That's a good point about Uberfish and the villager PM, Meiz. Particularly when you consider that the villager PM was in fact subsequently posted by the GM. Perhaps that incident caused the wolves to ask for it?
Rowain, care to comment?
