Serdoa Wrote:Ichabod, some of your thoughts I share. But looking at the post as a whole, it reads incredibly non-commital. And I miss the theme. I don't have the right words in English for it, but ... well, if we would take that post and split it up into 5 posts from 5 different posters it would be exactly the same. I miss reading something from YOU.
Still, I agree with Meiz, going for you on Day1 doesn't seem the best play. And I have to say I still like my vote where it is, on Rowain.
One word to Commodore: I feel he is trying to make all the mistakes we would expect from a new player. Question is only now if he does that on purpose (told by his wolf-leader maybe) or if it is simply because he is indeed a new player. I would give him the benefit of the doubt right now though.
Yeah, that post was a big ramble. Thing is, there's too much players and it's hard to keep things focused. And since it's the first day, I think trying to make elaborate cases is just a way to try to convince yourself that your gut feels are indeed right. There's nothing very solid to go on about. For instance, I read Pindicators posts again before posting, maybe I should have written why I suspect him with more details.
So I'm giving some general feels about the players, especially since I'm not fond of lynching Rowain right now. Nor MNG. It seems Meiz had the same thoughts about pindicator, so I think that my post, while badly presented, helped a bit.

So the third faction is Diablo players, right?

I'm not a Diablo player, really...if the wife doesn't have anything for me to do, we can compliment each other all day long .
As for the current situation - maybe it's because of the number of players, but it feels like fog to me. I can't keep straight who's accusing who and for what. I do find Ichabod self-contradictory - your reason for voting me was my vagueness, and now you're castigating people for being certain of themselves?
Ichabod Wrote:I wouldn't be so sure about things like some are being or trying to appear
Actually, Ichabod, I can't figure out what you're thinking at the moment. I see maybe 8 suspects on your various lists? 10? Not that I think you're a wolf, but I can't learn anything from what you're saying.
I suppose in the spirit of gaining info, I'll help put some pressure on Pindicator. I don't really have an opinion on him either way, but we might learn something.

Have I misunderstood you? Do you have a rationale beyond that?
Heh, I figure if there isn't anyone else on him it's more or less an unvote, just with more red. If we're not really joking around, Ichabod doesn't really seem that odd, Rowain I have practically zero baseline on, but Mr. Nice Guy does sound a bit...self-conscious? Tasunke more than anyone else sounds weird though.

Btw I did some thinking on what multiple scum factions would entail. Normally we look for two big things when scumhunting:
- people not hunting scum
- people hiding
With two scum factions, I guess there's no reason for scum not to participate in scumhunting in earnest. (Or will the scum factions share a victory when the villagers become a minority?) So maybe the "hiding" element becomes more pronounced?
Also, I guess gaining trusted villager status for a wolf becomes a double edged sword with two factions.
Hopefully we'll know more about the setup soon, just pointing out that it could affect our general scumhunting approach directly.
I have to run.

Commodore, you're taking vote switching to a new level...

@ Pling if you thought my first vote for Ichabod wasn't serious, that's your fault. Coming fresh off a game with him as a fellow wolf and seeing him operate in a number of scenarios, I'm pretty comfy pushing him day 1. Either he gives good tells or he doesn't and we move on. Therefore, I put the vote out there and see what happens. With all the votes flying around other players though, I'm going to stick with Ichabod and see how if flies.
I'd be alright voting Ichabod, MNG, or Commodore today.

According to the rules:
NH Wrote:18. A werewolf pack wins when all remaining werewolves belong to its pack and the remaining number of villagers is equal or fewer than the number of werewolves.
So no. A wolf pack wins only when a potential other pack is killed completely AND when the wolves are equal or more then the remaining villagers.

With time ticking, I would like to suggest that we pick one of the top four candidates for tonight's lynch: Commodore, Mr. Nice Guy, Rowain and Ichabod. It's unlikely that other candidates will gain sufficient traction, especially with Europeans going to bed in a few hours.
Of the above 4, my preferred target is Rowain for the reasons mentioned by Serdoa and zakalwe (his reactions to being pushed in particular). Ichabod second, because he looks a bit like he's blending in while appearing helpful and active. I still don't want to hang Commodore today, but Gaspar has a good point about the implications of two wolf packs. Two confused wolf packs would also help explain the overall low post count, considering the high player count.
What is the case against MNG?

@zak
so your reasoning is that NobleHelium did post a clarification over the villager PM that has happened at my instigation because uberfish didn't catch the ambivalence in NH's introductionary post and talked about Villager PM's accusing me. You do realize that he retracted his vote within 15 minutes?
And you wonder why I don't take you serious
As said there are enough people here who will follow you and lynch me today. No problem but I implore those with at least a bit of braimn to relize that this whole charade started with MNG and zakalwe his wolfbuddie telling him he can safely accuse him.
