The Rowain theorem: If a WW player is right about something important, he will proceed to believe that he's probably right about everything else too :neenernee

So theorizing here that Gaspar in his rage-quit anger is acting out about a packmember getting dogpiled randomly (not all that random, sorry MNG), do we want to go for the easy lynch of another white wolf, or should we search for the other pack?
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out. Your pack, you mean? I'm sorry to jump on you like this but your posts just seem incredibly suspicious. In case you're town I'll give you a proper answer too - let the wolves worry about pack membership, a wolf is wolf. We need to kill'em all. I mean, prolonged wolf infighting seems good, but if we see a clear suspect we should just go after [Strike]you[/Strike] him.
I have to run.

To be clear, what this post reads like to me is "can we all agree to lynch Gaspar and forget about me, since that's the best strategy?"

I'd rather be sure, and it's not like we need consensus for the next 40 hours or so.

And you think I fit into this evasion mode? Interesting... Could you point out how that's so? Catwalk Wrote:The Rowain theorem: If a WW player is right about something important, he will proceed to believe that he's probably right about everything else too :neenernee That's pretty funny, to be honest a lot of the reason I was emboldened to call out Gaspar was because I had been right on MNG. That and some booze. novice Wrote:Scumdar evasion mode is trying to stay under the radar, but posting enough seemingly earnest but ultimately harmless content that you're not accused of lurking. Go back and read my post critiquing Gaspar and his initial response. I wouldn't call that harmless. Maybe you'd prefer that I just not say anything?
Actually, to put things a bit more finely:
novice Wrote:That comment is always a 10 out of 10 on my scumdar. Anyway, after rereading, besides Gaspar I could also get behind a Commodore, Ichabod or Injera lynch. Commodore is simply acting scummish, Ichy and Injy seem to be in scumdar evasion mode. For that matter, with two wolf packs, MNG being a white wolf doesn't necessarily have much bearing on the Rowain case. And I really think Rowain's attempt to link MNG to Zak is odd. Gaspar makes a comment that is a "10 out of 10 on your Scumdar." And in the very next sentence you accuse the very person who elicited said comment as being on your scumdar for posting "harmless" things. Tell me, where does logical incoherence fit on that scumdar? It's almost as if you're just throwing accusations around...
@Mardoc: Yeah I need to work on that. I'm just used to pointing things out as I see them.
@Ichabod: 1. Telling the village not to expect much from you 2. Picking targets where you know you can do a bit of back and forth and meet enough resistance to back out gracefully. 3. Just the way you phrase your accusations... With innuendo for lack of a better description. @Injera: Provoking Gaspar is not hard, and he's an easy target really, his natural state is suspicious. I don't think the fact that he responded with a wolfish outburst gives you any brownie points. In a vacuum I found your attack...lacking. If Gaspar flips wolf you slide up the innocent scale though. I don't really do much logical inference at this point of the game, I prefer to look at individual behaviours that stand out. That can lead to incoherent suspect lists, but I'm not claiming everyone on my list is scum. You're suspects, for a variety of reasons.
I have to run.
