Meh he was a Jim Lee character; they're ok. I have a comic or two of WILDCats actually. They were good but Jim Lee's versions of JLA founding members like Bats and Supes and GL are better! (Well he's just gotte better at pencilling over the years, I guess) ^_^

Why do we need a short list?

Already explained. By establishing a cutoff point that narrows the field to a brief selection of the top choices we will get to include everyone's preferences for those front runners. Without it many votes will get scattered around the far reaches of jumbo list not really counting for anything more than a token gesture.

Thinking back to the hot topic of the Beyond Ascension name you might have 10 votes for one name and 50 votes spread around the other options from people who all hate it, yet that overly disliked name wins because the next highest might only be 5 votes. We want as many selections as possible to actually count.

And yes, we've fluffled around for long enough. It's time to present the short list and make the final decision.

After reviewing the poll that KoP put up and scanning the threads I made here and on the Arch forums I think there has emerged a much smaller list of contenders that stick out a long way from the crowd:

Character limit: 31 including spaces. All of these comply.

Rogue Legion [Legn]

Slash and and burn I say. That leaves us with three choices and a secondary choice on the tags. As a voting strategy I propose that everyone gets one vote only. Votes splits on the Beyond Ascension or Rogue Legion options are added together for the name and the higher of the two tags is retained as the tag.
