Le sigh, Commodore, can you just try to make a case? If you think Molach is going under the radar then just say it. You don't need to place your safety picks in red...

Hmm, well, spelled out like that let's keep pressing Jkaen.

I know this is lame but I'm happy with all the current votees. This post is interesting though:

Commodore Wrote:Apparently NH enjoys being cruel, although given the weakness of that last role being vanilla doesn't seem very much worse, I guess. Tasunke, are you sure you have the limitation on your watches? Or did you watch me and find a disappointing lack of fangs? Damn shame about Bigger being legit and dead...voyeurizing would have helped.

Jkaen does seem checked out, and that is apparently rare for him in these games, but what, pray tell, of Molach? MNG has four times the posts of him.

Commodore knows he's a target and he can tell that Tasunke and JKaen could be alternative lynch targets. And yet he opts to launch Molach as a new candidate instead - it doesn't seem like a good move for self-preservation.

So either Commodore is a villager who thinks it's more important to pressure Molach than try to save his own skin, or he's a wolf who doesn't want to lynch Tasunke or JKaen (or both).

Maybe I'm reading too much into this but I found the post suspicious and I'm leaning towards the Commodore as wolf interpretation.

Oh and by the way, why on earth would Tasunke watch you, Commodore? That makes no sense at all.
I have to run.

I think I've heard that one before.

What information was out there to gather that would justify a mislynch? We know Rowain's alignment now, so what light has been shed on the discussion? smile

Injera Wrote:And what do you think about zak? I agree that Jkaen needs some pressure to open him up. He was out of the flow as well in WW7 frown

Catching up this mornings threads, will try to answer the accusations, but first thing is that I have been accused of being out of the flow this game whereas I am not apparently out of the flow.

But it seems I was also out of the flow in WW7,l which means this is my normal play. You guys cant have it both ways

Oh, my vote stays firmly on Commodore, for the reason that I believe I was the first to propose, which was I don't believe anybody has no powers at all in this game

I'm not quite sure what you're getting at here, obviously I didn't know at the time that it would be a mislynch. Knowing the alignment of the targets of the major bandwagons provides useful information IMO. If Rowain had been bandwagoned yesterday I would have been tempted to vote him to see his alignment. As it happened he wasn't bandwagoned, but instead helped Zak and Serdoa build a case on Bigger, who then flipped village. Which I also find to be useful information. Based on that interaction I would have been inclined to investigate Rowain further today, so I find it a bit surprising that the wolves killed him off instead. That saves us from having to lynch him to find out his alignment. Anyway, Rowain being villager makes Zak and Serdoa seem a bit more suspicious to me.

Of course, if Commodore is village we shouldn't read too much into what happened yesterday - or maybe we should wonder why the bandwagons on e.g. Ichabod and Tasunke never got off the ground. So lynching Commodore, who still seems scummish to me, would also be good for making sense out of the day 2 voting.
I have to run.

Meiz Wrote:I'm actually quite jealous. On last game my role was: Once during the game you may make a show of force towards any other civilization, who will be too scared to vote for you the next day.

(and this couldn't be used at the end game either) lol

Anyway, I think Rowain showed some good signs of his innocence, but still he was one of the players who showed intent to go after Jkaen (and Zakalwe) next. Personally I feel that Jkaen is... "disconnected" from this game. He drops by here and there, but hasn't really participated the discussions. There are several cases, where he drops some line, is being questioned about it and then he simply disappears.

For example Rowain asked what made him come up with the idea of a neutral faction. Not answered. The rules gave quite clear guides for several werewolf packs, but not much regarding neutral factions. My guess, to appear confused about the setup.

The point which I did respond to, was to stress it was a possibility as I didnt want people taking the set up for granted when it wasnt confirmed, I did try to stress it was just a possible rather than a probable

Quote:He made a comment regarding the "who Ichabod thing", which didn't make any sense and Ichabod asked about it. No response before Ichabod asked the same question several pages forward. This was finally answered on the next day, he confused Ichabod with uberfish.

So this one I have replied to already, I didnt reply straight away because it was not really getting that much attention, I thought it would just drift away and I have found if you try to cover minor comments from everybody you get accused of being too defensive. Once I saw it was bothering Ichabod (ie he brought it up again) i responded

Quote:Accused Rowain and they discussed from post http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...post241273 forward. When Rowain points that the accusation is illogical (MNG, Gaspar, Zakalwe tried to bus Tasunke = Tasunke is innocent, same people tried to bus Rowain = Rowain is a wolf), Jkaen again disappears.

Thats not quite how I remember that argument going, will go back some point today and reread

Quote:Jkaen says that Rowain lashes against every accuser (wolf under pressure), http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...post241478

Later Rowain asks to point out the posts where he has done this agains Catwalk, Jkaen and novice. This gets never responded.

Obviously the man can only chase 1 person at a time, and getting zak to stop voting for him is more important due to his herding ability. that said just further up this very post I am responding to you state that rowain suspected and wanted to vote for me. Again you cant have it both ways, either he suspected and wanted to vote for me or he didnt

Quote:So in summary, I don't remember Jkaen being this much "out of the flow" in any of his previous games. He has never been numerous poster, but I'm getting way different read from him now. Also his starting votes on day 1 where the easiest ones to make. Catwalk for being catwalk, Lewwyn for being always suspicious, Commodore for having 1 post.

Jkaen
They were first day posts, what complex reasons do you want, although i could list another half dozen 'easy votes' I didnt make (MNG is a easy vote for example)

Rowain wasn't mislynched. Wolves ate him. Easy to confuse...

novice Wrote:If Rowain had been bandwagoned yesterday I would have been tempted to vote him to see his alignment.

You stated yesterday (in game days, a couple irl) you would vote to lynch Rowain for "information purposes." Do you not remember?

novice Wrote:Previewing: If JKaen and Zak can garner more support for a Rowain lynch, I'm still willing to consider it for information gathering purposes.

What information were you trying to gather?
