Do I mix up times? Should night not be over by now?

Night ended fourteen minutes ago.

After sunset, there was a lot of talk. And it went on and on. Most of the discussion was between Mr. Bod and a man named Mardoc, revolving around the mysterious smoke from the commodore and the alleged powers of the Watcher.

They circled around and around the campfire as a few other observers watched and listened - the aforementioned Watcher, a guy who made pink indicators, a mysterious cat who walked a lot, a blind squirrel, and a few others.

As Mr. Bod and Mardoc paced slowly around the campfire raging at each other, the first cracks of dawn appeared over the horizon. Suddenly Mr. Bod's eyes rolled skyward and his legs gave way. Everyone rushed up to support him but he simply slumped over and the top of his body fell into the fire.

Quickly pulling him out, everyone frantically tries to put out the fire. The charred remains of his shirt form some mysterious words...

You are a member of the village.

You have the following personal ability:

Liar - During the day, you may claim to have one of the following abilities:
  • Blessed - If you are attacked by werewolves, they will fail to kill you.
  • Vengeful - If you are lynched, you may kill another player as you die. (PM me with the name of that player)
  • Tiebreak Immune - If you are lynched as a part of a tie, you will not be killed.

You will have the claimed ability during the day and the following night of your claim only. You must clearly explain what your claimed ability does when claiming it. You can only claim one ability per day. You can use this ability two times during the game, but you cannot claim the same ability twice.

Ichabod the Liar was killed.

Day 4 begins.

I fixed a possibly ambiguous wording issue in the role revelation text.

Thanks for getting all your thoughts out at night Ichabod. I never understood the arguments against you.

I voted Mardoc for a while on Day 1 or 2 because of a wolfish comment. Happy to reprise that and start off the day. I'll go look for that vote too.

Multiple packs really changes the calculus. Crazy to kill someone who had as much suspicion as Ichabod normally.

This was on day 2

Mardoc Wrote:Hmm, looks like I won't be getting any traction with my Tasunke vote. No one else has said it - but here's another possible explanation for watching Sareln - they could be wolf-buddies and Tasunke wanted to know if Sareln was discovered. Long shot, I know, but it makes about as much sense to me as 'Sareln was obviously innocent'.

Anyway, if we're not going to get anything more from Tasunke...
Heck, I don't like my choices at all. Either I can pile on to someone where the case is already pretty well made, or I can join Tasunke and Commodore. Or I can start another 1-man crusade, with 10 hours left, most of which I should be working.

I think I'll go with Ichabod for now. I'll be back before the lynch, if we've learned anything by then I can change my vote.

This to me feels like rambling mentioning these people and simply stirring up their names. The vote on Ichabod at the feels unsubstantiated, but thats not my issue. Its more the rambling tone I have an issue with.

Bit this from that same post is the kicker.

Boom! Feeling clever Mr. Black Wolf Announcer? Too me this comes off as pushing the issue. By this point I;ve already discussed the plan of the black announcer to make it seem like there are 3 packs. But here you specifically say a Gray WW. Why? and why the sort of coy joking tone about it? Maybe because your ploy got picked out and you simply couldn't help joking about it? You gave yourself up Mardoc.

Not crazy if he was right about Mardoc. He was the only one pushing at night. Having one person who suspects you that much and will keep speaking loudly is bad. you have to kill the root and hope it hasn't already taken hold.

Bah, Ichabod was playing really well there. I guess that's what did him in ultimately. Sorry to see you go. frown

I didn't want to post anything during the night, but I find zakalwe's claim to be really unusual, especially after Meiz so strongly stated he felt we should look more into zakalwe today. It seems if he was worried about being eaten, he should have at least held off until the last minute to post that, or rather just not claimed at all.

It feels less "I need to reveal to let you guys know this" and more "I need to reveal to preempt accusations." Heck, even what he revealed as his purported move was saying, "Hey, I'm trying to protect my accuser against this known wolf." That role- and even that move- could easily be done as a wolf, though, too.

I don't know, I've been feeling suspicious of zak all game but I need to go back and look at things. I think it's possible to clear quite a few people of immediate suspicion due to their activities going against both packs and zak might be in that category.

Yeah, but it could be reverse psychology too. Then again the wolves weren't too subtle with the gray wolf thing (assuming we interpreted it correctly.)
