Werewolf 12: Game Thread

Let me drop some more knowledge on ya folks!

Commodore Wrote:Heh. Nicely distanced there, sir, you're taking that bullet very nicely for your senior wolf.

We'll have plenty of data to start that wolf hunt, 'aight, Tasunke.

So a funny story about that null role claim. I actually somehow missed it in Noble's PM. I realize that sounds kind of absurd and like a complete and total lie, but it's true.

The bolded text explains what commodore is a about to do. Bus himself for senior wolves.

The italics is his bullet.

Preceding this there were 4 consecutive votes onto Commodore. He knew he was going down. So why throw this out there? To give his wolf pack an excuse to switch on to him!

There were 3 people who did this. Zak, Sareln and Mardoc.

Zak posted a long post that came a minute after Commodore's post so either that was planned or it was an incidental crosspost. I'm inclined to leave that alone for now.

There are two others that switched though:

Sareln Wrote:So you know all that stuff I said about how we could wait on lynching Commodore b/c then if the wolves turn over a vanilla villager in the night he's cleared and we don't risk the mislynch? Yeah... toss that out.

The Ichabod push has been interesting and I think it has drawn a lot of good discussion out, but that latest means it has to be Commodore today.

Commodore.

Aw you were able to help save him on Day 2 but not this time. We'll look more deeply into you later Sareln.

Mardoc Wrote:Well, I was afraid Ichabod would be able to wiggle out.

I guess it's time to correct yesterday's mistake, then, and vote Commodore

I guess its time? Only now Mardoc? At the very end of the day after Commodore has thrown himself on the fire? Shot himself in the head?

The thing about both Sareln and Mardoc votes is that they are short and insinuate that now that its obvious we're going to vote for Commodore. In trying to provide his wolfpack cover. Commodore has exposed them.

Also on Mardoc, this is relevant:

Mardoc Wrote:If I'm a wolf, then I can just nightkill you. Problem solved! No need to do anything directly, just carry on keeping my cover intact, Ichabod dies during the night. No rush, either, he's injecting confusion and confusion is my friend.

But, as it stands, I don't have that option. The only way I see you dying is if I can muster enough support to get you lynched. This might be the first time that's achieved, if I can figure out how to show others what I see, but I still don't think I have great odds. If I do, it's likely to be a post-mortem award. It'll be worth it, though, to get a wolf as slippery as you.

Lewwyn, if Commodore was giving himself up wouldn't he just use wolf-mail to tell his pack that?

What's your opinion of that Injera? You think that makes him a frame target? Or do you think he's setting up the defense for when he does kill him and claims that he was framed?

Man my scumdar is worthless this game. Mardoc seems totally normal to me, so he's probably super-duper guilty.

I will say generally its extremely unlikely for wolves to kill their primary thread nemesis - its just too easy a connection to make.

I'm going to try and think some more before voting. Also would like to hear what Tasunke did last night.

Of course, but he has to do something public to give his pack an excuse to hop on the bandwagon without seeming suspicious as late bandwagon jumpers. This way they can say, "Ok now we're convinced by new info that wasn't available before." It's a plant. Tell me why else would Commodore say that? Think about his motivations for posting what was assuredly going to get him lynched!?

Hey, you're the one who completely fucked up day two. At least my mistakes haven't cost us anything. smile

Right when I was starting to get fired up.

Well, it was probably for the best. I'm going on a trip this weekend I wouldn't be able to participate on the discussion...

Good Luck, village!

Technically I didn't. Who started the train on Commodore at the beginning of that day? I simply was conflicted between the two and thought a random lynch would be fun. Besides, did you see who actually tied up the votes? Sareln. The same Sareln who finally switched to Commodore after Comm's suicide. I don't know about you but the chance to tie up the votes and get a 50-50 shot at saving your wolfpack while all the blame for it goes to a crazy guy named Lewwyn seems like a good wolf deal to me!

Maybe we got some info after all no? Not such a mistake if I'm right.
