Sciros has indicated he wants to use the Arch forums for them. If I put up a poll here and duplicate it over there does that work for people?

Fail, eh? Just change our alliance name to something terrible like Q W E R T Y [UIOP] and see if any of them even say anything. If not, then having them vote is pointless... Have they ever visited these forums?

actually whether or not they are active doesnt matter...they are still part of the founding alliance...so i think they deserve to vote

I don't think they said Fail doesn't deserve to vote, Fail certainly has the right to vote. However, if they chose not to participate that's up to them, we should not have to break down their door to force votes out of them (ie, AC, Vent and screenies).

Arch voting on their own forum works too but that does nothing to promote building a community... instead, why not just post a note there for them to come vote? I mean, if they can't even go to another forum to vote on one of the most important alliance matter, what other reason would they have to read up on alliance matters, get to know each other?

Err, the part about dragging people out of their comfort zone to register on another guild's forum (that has occasionally glitched with new registrations) to vote on foreign soil as it were. I'm also in favour of not shitting directly on the "alliance of equals" target every time I think I have a brilliant idea that I-just-know-everyone-will-love-because-I-do etc. etc.

So anyway, do we have an agreement on a voting setup? Yet another unratified poll has popped up now. *sigh*

I believe that poll is OK... after all it will be either AKA, BA, or RL, and all of those are present there.

I think most of our guys know to come over here. I'll drop another little reminder note, though. I'd normally say "Oh, it's not a problem, we can vote there!" But 1)I don't really think we'll have too different a vote there than here, tbh. and 2) I already voted before I read this. So... Too late for me to vote elsewhere!

Besides... if we voted on our forums, would that mean Arch would get one vote, RB one vote and Fail one vote? Or would we just total 'em all up? Seems a lot of effort for something that can be replaced by something as simple as saying "Go vote on RB forums. I'm not adding shit." Little effort by many beats a lot of effort by one. (ok, not that adding small columns of numbers is hard work, but it's the principle. )
