Will someone be able to pick up some slack for me and post the day 4 voting? Maybe you can Sareln? I'm off visiting my little brother -- his birthday this weekend -- and did not bring my laptop that has the spreadsheet.

I'm feeling a bit uneasy about this Mardoc landslide. We've seen villagers give up easily before. I don't have time to gather the quotes right now (I marked the posts so I can go grab them tomorrow if needed), but here's the thing:
Day 1 & early Day 2 he's pretty aggressive against Commodore, especially in pointing out that he was obviously paying close attention to the game but not contributing anything. That was actually the argument that really got me thinking of Commodore as a wolf. Doesn't seem like a black wolf thing to do. He was also the first person to call out MNG for the contradiction between "combine our votes" and "new vote on Bigger," and laid out a pretty decent case for him as the votes were starting to move, which doesn't feel particularly white wolfish either. I guess the case might not be evidence since MNG had apparently stopped trying at that point, but he was still fighting when Mardoc called him on Bigger. Sorry if this isn't too coherent, I'm sleepy but I wanted to get this out before I went to bed.

Later when his death is apparent, he makes a big case agaisnt MNG and votes later. But what is bugging me, it would have been quite natural to vote MNG when he made the big case (bussing wolf partner for credibility). Instead he said "I'm tempted to vote for him, only I don't know that we really want a lopsided vote at the end.". It's a small thing, but still bit strange. But this "stupid villagers, I give up" attitude is sure making me hard to not suspect him. I think it's quite out of character for him = could be an attempt of reverse psychology. Since wolves would not give up that easily, you know? 
On a different note, Lewwyn pushed really hard on MNG. It's hard for me too see him as white wolf. But he also pushed Commodore, and wanted a tie between him and bigger (says both are his suspects).

Leaning towards the latter, in which case I'd not see him belonging to either pack. Also if wolves have identical roles, his role claim would be a suicide. --- Also if Mardoc is revealed as wolf, then it gives info on Gaspar's role as well. Like I said earlier, all I can vouch for is that I haven't done anything any night. So any tracks/watches/follows/whatever would have come up with me sitting in my shanty eating cheetos. Perhaps in Superman underoos, but that's none of your business.
Here's why I think Jkaen would not be in the white pack. Day 1 votes:
Catwalk (4) - Commodore, Jkaen, Meiz, Bigger Serdoa (3) - Mardoc, Ichabod, novice Mr. Nice Guy (3) - Injera, uberfish, Rowain Jkaen (2) - pindicator, Zakalwe novice (1) - Gaspar Gaspar (1) - Lewwyn Ichabod (1) - Sareln Commodore (1) - Catwalk Meiz (1) - pling Zakalwe (1) - Mr. Nice Guy uberfish (1) - Serdoa Then Zak and Ichabod vote MNG, putting him in lead. What does Jkaen do? Switches away from Catwalk to Lewwyn, making MNG in even bigger lead. And he pushed hard on Commodore (black). Given his innocence, we can assume this is true. So if Mardoc is lying about watching me, someone else alive knows its a lie because they watched me. No reason for them to come forward, of course. But something to file I suppose. |
