Do you dispute that you said "Do all WW games make so little sense?" i don't dispute i said that, but i thought you were saying that my quote of "@novice - what was self-depricating about what I said" was the noob wolf thing. I see you meant the quote below the text. If expressing frustration is a wolf tell, then be prepared to vote for me because I'll express it. Or tell me to shut up and I won't. I get that you've been on my case for screwing up my rational against Ichabod. Sensitive that you think I'm a wolf because I screwed up against Ichabod? Yes I am. I felt sick because I was so damn sure of myself that he was a wolf and then the floor came out when I realized nothing I had posted mattered because I had read it all wrong. So if you want to make that your case that I'm a wolf based off that, feel free to do it. I'll make my case that you were railroading us on Mardoc yesterday and dismissing any discussion of motive. Maybe because it wasn't convenient for you. Considering I warned everyone that I was highly suspect of anybody who did railroad us yesterday, it makes sense why you're attacking me now. You're right about the noob part: i should have kept my mouth shut and not given you that kind of advance warning.

Hmm, I've been thinking about pack dynamics along the lines of my previous post. Since the wolves have to try to kill each other at least a little bit while the villagers are still alive, what a good wolf pack would want to do is grab the initiative early, and try to kill a wolf early and dare the other team to retaliate, as at some point a retaliatory killing would become too risky for fear of letting the village win.
Maybe the black pack isn't that stupid. Maybe they stabbed the white pack the first day, but then the next day Commodore started to get trained. With 4 votes, crucially one from pling, which they took as a sign the white wolves were going to help take down Commodore, they panicked and made that announcement. Then Night 4 they try to grab the initiative again, killing pling. They just want a numerical edge, though, but still need the white pack to kill villagers so they killed one of the more expendable members of the pack. It's just a theory, and relies on quite a few assumptions, but it's an interesting narrative I think. x-posting with a bunch

@Pindicator: Thanks for reminding me of your Ichabod absurdities. Although you left out the most incriminating thing you did there, which was accusing Ichabod based on a Ichabod quote that didn't fit the timeline at all.
I don't think you're upset, btw, I think you're panicking. @Injera: I don't follow, are you saying the wolf packs know each other's identities?

novice Wrote:Injera, who are your top five suspects, then? zakalwe, Gaspar, Serdoa are probably my top suspects. I could see pindicator, Molach, Sareln being wolves too. I wouldn't be shocked if Tasunke and Catwalk were wolves, but I think they're more likely to be villagers. Maybe Molach belongs in this category instead. JKaen probably fits here, too. I feel pretty good about Lewwyn, Meiz, and you. I think that's everyone.
Quick, disorganized post.
Pindicator, perhaps Novice has been waiting to pounce on you, but if has, it was certainly fortuitous that you just gave him the opening you did. Those "I'm so confused!" outbursts do scream newbie wolf, and I think you had a similar one back on day 1. Novice attacking you for this is very much in character. (The "got me so upset I forgot to vote for you" part is just the icing.) What I don't agree with is that Pindicator's attack on Ichabod was scummy. I got some strong villager paranoia vibes from that whole incident, which is inconsistent with the newbie wolf hypothesis. About redirection: I again did nothing on night 4. Tasunke, did you just produce a whole mountain of text showing that the assumption that I'm a wolf implicates that I'm possibly a wolf? Day 1 voting records: http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...post241208 Pling pushed Tasunke into the lead 5-4 over MNG, so Tasunke is not a white wolf. Pling then followed on to Commodore when the Tasunke wagon collapsed. Certainly no attempts at busing MNG there. I think Jkaen is another (the last?) white wolf, following a similar pattern.
If you know what I mean.

I'm having a hard time rationalizing pling's killing tonight if they didn't, though. Injera Wrote:That's one of the assumptions. If they don't, of course, the story wouldn't make sense. Pling had quite nasty power in her use, regardless of her alignment. |
