Interturn events:
2 (count 'em, 2!) religions fell - buddhism and hinduism - zero got hinduism, tt got buddhism (I am 99% sure TT got buddhism, as I have visibility on both of Serdoa's cities and neither show up as being buddhist - Zero switched)
Also, I survived the attack by the warrior and that archer is now G1.
Settler was created - overflow is enough to create a dog, so I'll do that. It moves out. Up to the hill next turn, settle turn after. Unless a panther or a chariot comes out of the fog, which woudl suck.

Serdoa's archer moved in, so I finished the roads from the fur to the cap and moved my warrior out.
Next turn, if Serdoa moves towards the fur, I move the warrior there. I don't THINK he'll attack it, since it will 3.3 on 3.6 and that's a very valuable archer. If it was a regular archer, he might go for it, to choke the fur - I dunno. In any case, the dog will move out to attack the archer. that won't be fun, but I should be able to beat it unless he gets a great result on the warrior.
I think I screwed up my defense by not keeping an archer near by, or by not whipping an archer earlier, so we'll see. If he does manage to choke my fur, that will be a significant set back for me, especially as it will mean killing 2 (maybe only 1) units, so that archer would be GII and would be very difficult to dislodge.
But making a low odds attack with a CGIII archer? I don't think he'll do that.

So, Serdoa backed off.
i moved the warrior back into the city and the dog out - it will go south to watch over serdoa.
The workers will road towards the new city and towards my 3rd city site.
Next builds are worker/settler. The settler got to the hill, saw nothing that could attack it, so the archer moved back. The warrior will go to the city, the archer that was in Serdoa's lands will move down to it so it has two MP's, one being a CGIII G2 archer, thus making it pretty damn safe. It will build workboats, a granary and lib, mainly from whipping, in some order.
TT's second city seems to be in the same place from his end, btw - I could just see it's borders. We may have a cultural issue there, so hopefully I can get a religion founded there - I'm thinking either judaism or maybe confucianism - we'll see. China may be going for judaism, in which case I'll hopefully get either theology or confucianism.
3rd worker will probably chop, then hook up the copper then cottage.
Not sure how many workers I should build, to be honest. maybe a couple more - I think I'm going to fort the gold and some other resources to get bonuses for CG II archers for defense, and forts take a while.

so, without one of the early religions, what do I do with my prophet?
Well, it's going to depend a lot on whether I get judaism or not. if I do, I'll probably build the shrine. if I don't... well, then I guess I'll use it to bulb Theology. Which means meditation and priesthood.
I get the prophet in 8 turns, but can't get to monotheism for another 10 or so (depending on city plants, at least.

ok - I settled McHale's Navy. Boy, expenses are high - 2nd city made for 7 GPT Expenses!! I had to drop to 60% science.
Also, barbs are beginning to appear. I'm going to go worker->archer->settler, not worker->settler->archer.

Haven't had an update lately, so:
Overview of civ:
2 cities, unconnected.
3 workers, as marked by the black circles.
1 dog solider, down near serdoa.
2 archers + 1 in the pipeline
2 warriors.
1 settler in pipeline.
Once the 3rd settler is out, the cap will build a lib and a granary and we tech to monarchy.
1 worker just chopped and will road to mchale's navy, the other will road for city #3 and pasture the horses, the 3rd will connect copper and gold. I may make a 4th to cottage, because we expand borders again in 10 turns or so and we can get stone/marble/silver.
The cap
We grow into unhappiness again this turn. I think I can 2 pop whip the settler, though.
GP farm:
WB get whipped once I hit size 2. Dunno if I get another WB or a granary next.
southern front:
I'm worried about having serdoa there. he's probably bee-lining HBR - I don't really want to deal with keshiks.
I could go and site on the horses and choke him. I might do that, but I need enough units to deal with a counter choke.

Interesting turn. I'll add in pics tonight, but...
A barb city showed up near my fish city, which forced a new route home for my archer - he's walking on the hills, then the forest, since walking on the land is dangerous.
The mayan city of drugs (buddhism holy city) expanded again, taking my whales. I need religion in McHale's navy!!
The holkan that had been in that city disappeared!! Dunno where it went, but I switched my WB build in McHale's navy to an archer to get a hammer invested if I have to whip more there.
Moved my dog further south - serdoa hasn't improved the horse - I think I may move the dog to a forest hill, to make it hard for serdoa to dislodge me, so I can keep it from being improved.
Once I build a barracks, I'll probably move a GII archer down there, either to replace the dog or support it. Is choking like this a good idea in MP? I figure if it keeps him from getting his really good UU, it's worth it...
I probably have to do more analysis to see what to do, but Serdoa has a reputation for aggression and has keshiks, too..
3rd city out in 2 turns Got my copper hooked up, so I can get spears if I need.

Last turn, Serdo moved an axe with a promotion available up to his worker. I responded by moving my dog E, not south. I doubt his axe will attack my dog, not with an extra 75% bonus - my guess is that the worker moves to the wheat and the axe into the open, but I really don't know. he might leave the axe where it is, too. We will see, of course.

ok - so, that's interesting.
He gave the axe woody 1 and fortified, with the worker staying there.
So, he's not chopping the forest and he's not moving out. Not sure what he's doing.
Got the settler out - I'm builidng one more worker, who will cottage the cap, then lib/granary/rax/mil.
will whip another WB I think, then a lib, then build a granary in McHalesNavy.
I'm mining the gold for happy - I'm moving an archer to cover it. Eventually, i'll change that to a fort.

K.
the archer moved to cover the worker mining the gold. Nothing is threatening it, but fortification is good.
Moved the dog next to the horse for better choking
Settled the new city - forgot to change it's name. Am improving the pigs while working the horses and building granary/rax/archers.
Built another WB for mchale's navy. Will watch TT kill the barb city.
Teching to judaism now - hope I'll get it, but others may be on their way first. If I don't, then meditation/priesthood/monarchy/theo.
I have 4 workers right now and may get another. I have marble with the expansion, but not stone.
I am debating building some wonders in my cap for the culture.

Lost my worker pasturing the pigs. Didn't even think about a chariot in the fog.
Dumb...
Not worried about losing the city - 4 on 8.85, he's unlikely to even attack. he might go around to pillage the horses - if so, there's nothing to do. Guess I need to build my forces up more - so am building a spear in BirdNest.
