GW:EN at E3

From a practicality standpoint, the only good thing about the preorder is that the Hourglass Staff's requirements are SOOOO generous.. you can equip every caster hero you have with one ^_^

In every other respect, the pre-order is rubbish; they even messed up Andre's sword. Not only are its stats crap, but worst of all, characters are gripping it halfway up the hilt. What the heck...

The skills are awful.

But the areas and music seem really good, and honestly I'm more interested in that than anything else. I rather concentrate on GW as a game to play through than anything else, and good quests/areas/music are sufficient for that at this point.

And there you have the difference between PvP and PvE players.

ZOMG!!! You forgot Smiter's Boon!

Sorry, but that pretty much sums up how I feel about GW:EN.

In truth I qualify as both; I just don't need a steady influx of new usable skills in order to enjoy PVP. PVP is well-done, and was always at such a point that I can just find a setup I like and stick with it. I might evolve it a bit here and there but if I get tired of it altogether a new skill or two or twenty aren't going to do it for me. I've gotten a bit tired of it but I find there's still more room for improvement in the story and other "immersive" aspects of the game. Likewise, I don't need all of the new moves and items and such that they're putting into Smash Brawl. I'd be plenty happy if they kept that aspect of the game the same and actually put effort into the single-player story mode (or maybe got smart and made it co-op). BTW that doesn't mean you can beat me in SSBM ~_^
