Werewolf 12: Lurker Thread

Hehe, I looked that up on the white wolf thread. Funny, I assumed all your "Yeah, tie!" stuff was because you were tiebreak immune, which was the context I interpreted your "won't get used" thing.

Couple things about the Black Wolf thread. Zak I think the announcement was a mistake. Also I find it hilarious that Novice had the black wolves fooled with his claim.

Next, Pin... its a terribly confusing game. That's sort of the point. Trying to make sense of shit and trying to lead others out of the darkness when you might actually be leading them further into the darkness is crazy. One of things I've found is you simply can't let yourself get TOO invested in the outcome, shake it off, because the games are never completely fair and random shit WILL get you. You would have lived a lot longer if novice hadn't caught you. If instead we had lynched him, it would have made it seem like his attack on you was an attempt at railroading a villager. You really did a great job and I hope you come around to trying it again. It's not an easy game.

Well keep in mind he was going to be lynched before he claimed on you. He was definitely hanging with the way we were pushing him.

Another thought, the wolfpacks were actively night hunting each other apparently. I think that's probably not the way to go but I understand the sentiment. The wolfpacks can nightkill you... you want to kill them first. Its a bit of a prisoners dilemma. Also, you can never be sure who the actual wolves are since the packs can't confirm each other.

I'm considering running the next game. I have a fun idea in mind. Unless someone else has a burning desire to do it?

What's interesting is this:

zak, from wolf thread Wrote:I admit it's partially founded in a desire to just use my power, even if it's useless. smile I do think it would be beneficial for us if the village was aware of multiple wolf packs, because it would be harder to clear people then.

The real danger at the time was that we could use multiple packs to start building an innocent list. With one pack, wolves could get thrown under the bus, but not with two small packs.

I don't know, reading the wolf threads I find it funny how much more scared they were of each other than the village. smile

I actually had some ideas, but reading the wolf threads made me realize how much effort it takes. Go for it smile The one request I'd make is to not let it devolve into metagame claims.

Yeah... that would not happen.

You know... usually when you're tasked with playing as a wolf, you don't also have to suffer the humiliation of being wrong about a bunch of things. lol

I have to say I think Novice's claim was very convincing. In hindsight, I guess it was even more convincing because I *knew* he was right. smile You could tell he gave up on the final day, though. (Can't blame him.)

The presence of multiple wolf packs should make it easier to blend in by scumhunting, but I still found my vision "blurred" on several occasions by having extra information that I was unable to filter out.

@Lewwyn. I'd sign up for another one right away, although crossing my fingers that I don't draw wolf. smile
If you know what I mean.
