I guess you gave Bob a nasty posting restriction? He seems to fit the part nicely

BOB IS A POSTING RESTRICTION!
And no. He's doing all that wonderfulness by himself.

Reminds me of Amelia posting in pictures and hanging for it a few games ago. He's obviously trying to fake a posting restriction, think he'll try to keep it up? Problem with it is that I can't imagine how to formulate a posting restriction that would lead to his babble. Amelia's was highly plausible, except uberfish didn't want to play along.
I'd say Bob has very good chances of hanging as a villager, doubt he'd do this as a wolf. Guess he's really just screwing about to pass day 1 in a game he didn't want to play that badly in the first place. Posting restrictions are fun though, I wish you'd have passed out a few.

I agree that posting restrictions are fun, but I have already added a bunch of elements that are new. Plus I wanted to reduce the chances of role claim so there are, like I've stated, minimal power roles.
If I host another game I will consider post restrictions... In fact that gives me a great idea. Mafia set in a carnival. The killers are evil clowns. You have Swami seers and Strongman baners. Ample opportunities for crazy post restrictions. Siamese twin masons. Escape artist immunity. Knife thrower vigilante. Yeah, I could do that.

One thing to be careful with in posting restrictions is requiring people to roleplay. Simple (usually silly) rules for posting restrictions are much easier to abide by than actually having to roleplay a character. For roleplaying, I really enjoyed being able to pick our roles in the cross-over madness game. Moreover, if you link roles to powers that becomes a mini-game by itself. Depends on whether your goal is overall silliness or another layer to the game, I suppose.

I'm thinking I may have to replace Tasunke. Luckily its at the beginning and this thread is spoiler free. Still would prefer to find someone who hadn't been reading here though. Or better yet, have Tasunke show up.

I've got a theory on Selrahc's play. Suppose he's the seer?
He immediately gathers a whole bunch of suspicion, enough that he's unlikely to get eaten, but apparently not enough to get lynched - perfect spot for a seer. He's got a reason to save up a whole bunch of information until the mid game, by which point he's hopefully gotten some results to share.
I mean, this approach makes him likely lynched Day 4, unless he's able to deliver the goods at that time. How can be be confident of doing so, unless he's got a relevant power role?

We're not entirely unspoiled, we know that Bob is faking a posting restriction.

Selrahc "threatening" to start encoding posts, BOB still posting nonsense and scooter being willing to bet money on not being able to pick two suspects out of a hat and not at least one of them being guilty. Just because if one is innocent, the other one probably isn't as well.
Lewwyn, might the craziness of the setup contribute in any way to the chaos? This game feels rather odd so far, interesting in seeing it play out

Its super weird in some ways. Realize there are 4 players who are new (thestick, waterbat, mattimeo, erick). 2 are in their second game I think (Injera, Bigger). Plus Bob, who I'm not sure has played much or recently on RB. That right there causes a lot more inexperience/unknown playstyle. I'm a bit worried that it will skew the balance, but in any case its going to be awesome to watch, I hope.
