Guild Wars: Eye of the North Sneak Peek

Well if I say give me x amount of minutes to finish something up, I'm usually done in that x amount of minutes or sooner assuming nothing strange happens during that time.

And yeah, I do hate those prep times to figure out what the whole party is doing. Sitting around another 30-60 minutes prepping isn't a way I like to spend my time while in GW.

Aside from lag, that prep time is usually the biggest factor keeping me from joining groups. My game time tends not to be in large consecutive batches, and if I only have an hour to play, and it takes 30 minutes to finalise the team, well, do the maths.

But I don't complain about playing alone; on those occasions when I've needed some help with something (and had the time), it's been a blast.

As for my impressions of GWEN, well, I have none. I didn't play it, yet. lol

I've never understood why the prep times have to be quite so long. We should all have a multitude of templates to draw from now and from there a skill bar ping and quick readjustment to knock out conflicts should about leave the group pretty well sorted out for Normal difficulty play. huh

Back to GW:EN-related news: Hawkmoon has now (for the first time even nod ) been dragged through Dajkah Inlet challenge mission twice and The Shadow Nexus once. Her new hero upgrades prepped and ready for Hall of Monuments display: Morgahn, Norgu, Koss, Acolyte Jin.

Only got a chance to play for a few minutes and really can't say I have experienced GW:EN at all. I was following you guys to cross over and hardly got off a few shots the whole time.

I am still undecided on buying GW:EN since I am beta testing Mytho and have Hellgate London coming in 2 months.

After all was said and done, the sneak peek was concluded and finally the general release of the game has come about. Sorry about not being able to tell anyone any details of how unfinished the Hall of Monuments was at the time, but on the flipside I think there were some nice surprises for many of you once the game finally released. lol

I'm not interested in making another new topic for something so trivial, but for those that care, GW:EN is on sale at Circuit City this week for $30 ($10 off MSRP). I might pick it up if I can get out to one.
