While this is true that people could be discovered this way, I think you'd be surprised how people could fly under the radar. In the end if the writing isn't attached to a name you know and that person is obviously stilted I think it would be incredibly difficult to figure a person out. As for TZ, we have multiple people from different places. The people most in danger of being outed would be Ichabod and I for our Asian/Aussie TZs. Or wait Ichabod where do you live...? Irgy is in Sydney.

Pseudonymous play should be fairly easy to maintain. You might get an inkling who somebody is but nowhere near enough to be sure...

I once wrote up some plans for a "Masquerade Ball" werewolf game, where I would make all the accounts for the game themed as costumes, and players would select their "costumes" via PM.

@Lewwyn: The thing is one knows who plays so it is easy to find the pseudonyms. Of course there are players who can stay hidden (sareln MNG) but those aren't those with the problems

I did consider to use one after WW6 but decided against it just because of the time/skill/labour that I believed to be necessary to make it work.

Alternatly one could reduce roles to an absolute minimum. (example 1 limited shot Baner and thats it).

Yeah you guys have probably noticed that I've been experimenting with various forms of nerfed roles. My current feeling is that wolves are not being penalized enough in general for making predictable night kills, and as such a full power Baner or equivalent might be a good thing to have.
