Werewolf 13: Lurker Thread [No Live Players]

MJW (ya that one) Wrote:Well Serdoa played well for his first time as a wolf. lol No-one in this thread even attacked him. lol

Thanks. Was kinda hilarious to get attacked for my play in the first 2 days (where I played for the village) and get "cleared" for my play when I actually was a wolf. I think this had much to do with the setup though, I obviously wanted to get other wolfs lynched so I was happy with helping that along (and I lost interest in D3 shortly after N2 of this game, because I got stuck in Inferno).

So it's 3-1-1-1 and I would guess there actually is a third silverblood

MNG's confirmed village, and will pick up all the mayor votes

Bigger's probably scum and will be lynched resulting in 3-1-1

Is 1 villager, 1 wolf, dead mayor (which could happen if someone tries to go for a silverblood) a wolf win or a draw? Most games count that as a win, but in the context of this setup a draw between village and the surviving wolf team sounds more fair.

Rules state that the villagers win if no wolf is left alive. I guess that pretty much makes clear what a win for the village is, no?

Serdoa: since you and our alpha knew about the 3 sleeper thing a bit ago, were you afraid of hitting a third silver? I had guessed you and scooter would be dead, but I was thinking MNG would also bite it. Your choice of Jkaen was a good one though as I also expected one of the other packs to hit MNG.

I was afraid you were going to talk yourselves into killing bigger wink.

What if a silver and wolf are left alive during the day and without one being mayor?

They don't state the wolf win condition though, and they do state that draws are possible

Welcome to the lurker thread newcomers! I just want to say well played to scooter; the village made a good play electing you mayor on day 1

Well despite being vanilla I found it a good interesting set up. The low post players didn't help though.

Found I could still be useful trying to herd and stop villagers being idiots about the information provided in thread though.

For people complaining this is unbalanced, I think generally the ame is oo much in favour of the villagers anyway.

Urgh reading Bigger's posts, so wish I could stil reply, hope nobody falls for all that

Kind of agree there. How many games have been played and how many have been village wins? I don't have a count but it seems wolf wins are the exception and not the rule, nor even at a 50/50 rate.

lol I hope not! Well, at least we know he gave up his abilities to be able to night kill. Makes sense that he would, since he's going on the block. But if he does somehow survive another day and night I bet he scries another "villager" tomorrow.

Edit: I'm betting that it was Bigger who killed Scooter off, btw.

My personal opinion is that this game is only fun if it isn't balanced, rather more friwndly towards the village. I find the game with fewer power roles (like seer, baner, fool, maybe a mason pair) the best. The Uberfish games were also very good, even with more power roles.

What I think this game showed that can be used in other games is the "you cannot claim this role restriction". It works (I remember seeing people doubting it could). So we could have unclaimable seers and things like that in the next games.
