Werewolf 13: Lurker Thread [No Live Players]

I assume it is random, which leads to quite a few 50-50% win endgame scenarios.

It is Bigger's only chance of survival, yes. Villagers and last wolf are clamming up so nothing is gonna happen. I fully suspect he will NOT nightkill last wolf, but that is okay, I'd still be very temped to go along with him just for the guts-factor. Only problem is, Bigger is now 100% and any other is at best ~100%. Like his play, though. And if it plays as he claims he will at least win honorary "villager of the game"-award.

If he wants to reward bold play and punish stupid play he should lynch himself. Had he kept his mouth shut he would not be in the predicament he is in right now.

If he does go through with it than this is the most childish I can't win so I ruin it for all others too play I have witnessed here. If he plans to betray MNG and the village falls for it then oh well.

Bigger Wrote:for instance, I'm fairly certain the tall wolves were given a list of villagers who might be sleepers, which included at least molach and serdoa, and my information is such that I can deduce within 99% certainty who the tall alpha is.

This is for sure a lie and the most easy way to show that he is not to be trusted.

Rename of the game: There will be blood, belligerence, backstabbing and betrayal.

@Jkaen: Why should the remaining Not-bigger wolf get silverblooded? He knows one sure kill in MNG and at least my beta knows another safe villager.

Somewhat off-topic, been reading up on the diplomacy 1 game, and there I did read the "I can't win so I'll make sure the one who backstabbed me won't win either"-mindset. Once or twice. So not sure childish is right, it is a very human response.

Yeah, the integrity of the game is totally ruined by such childish kingmaking. To give an analogy, this is like one team spitefully suiciding into one of the other teams in a four-team game, taking them both out of the running for no logical reason. UNPRECEDENTED, I SAY!

... [/sarcasm]

As far as I can see, this seems to be playing out as a classic prisoner's dilemma. Prisoner A chose betrayal; prisoner B chose to confess. smile
If you know what I mean.

Yeah, but he didn't get backstabbed, it is his own bad play that got him in that situation. It's similar to a civ-game. If someone backstabbed me, sure I would do anything to hurt him. But if I simply "forgot" to build an army, why should I be upset that someone sees that as an invitation to kill me?

He's not upset, he's trying to survive. To continue your analogy, maybe he tries to make an alliance with your other neighbour.
I have to run.

Direct revenge is one thing especially in Diplomacy but here it is in no way revenge.

Tell me where did that happen?
If you mean my action against you then please take note that both your team and my team still had intact chances afterwards. That is until your team (Bigger alone or on your urging) decided to really throw away any chances.

@novice: If it is a trick to stay alive longer and maybe win after a nice betrayel than there is no problem. Only if he is honest with his announcement.

BTW Did Tasunke note that there were 3 kills last night? Or is he so absent that he posts the first thing that comes into his mind without caring for reality.

EDIT That means Before we make a final edict about Bigger (and get all up in arms etc etc) we should wait what really happens.
