You can do a quick check how your system measures up HERE. Although my old box failed the Ram req, it runs. Best way to check of course is getting in the pre-order beta. I will check my local EB if they have any pre-oder boxes left in case you can`t get one soon.

There is still an aiming reticule in 3rd person view. However, ANY class who wields a gun (and that's all of them, if they so choose) gets to use FPS mode, but ONLY while wielding a gun. For Hunters (Marskman, Engineer), all they use is guns. For Templar (Blademaster, Guardian), it varies. For Cabalists (Evoker, Summoner), I'm not sure, but presumably their Focus weapons work like guns. They do have actual guns, though, so at the very least it could vary, but probably is always available. I prefer FPS mode. I despise melee combat in this game (I'm going to give it a shot come retail, but for now I do not like it), and 3rd person shooting just doesn't appeal to me as much as 3rd person, at least thus far. Like Shadow I have 768 ....this I can fix if needed. Was trying to figure out how to talk myself into a new computer....an argument for another day

If you can, you can download the client.
