I pretty strongly think corporations should be left up to mapmaker (namely, if it is water heavy he bans sid's sushi). Possibly a Mining Inc. ban too, but again mapmaker's discretion.

Other than that, I vote spies off and bans for the rest.

I ran this suggestion by pindicator, and he suggested that I contact you all about it. I think it would be good for the game to have a stickied information/invitation thread about the demo game in Civ General, where each team can make a sales pitch for lurkers to join their team. Right now information is not easily available, and there is nothing (short of digging through the mammoth thread) about each team. Any thoughts, ideas, objections or marriage proposals pertaining to that? I would volunteer to draft the invitation/information part of it, subject to approval, and each team would write their own sales pitch.

Have we started the MM work at all, or even really discussing where to settle? I'm on vacation (posting from my phone), otherwise I'd do some sandboxing, but we really should do some and soon!
