I kid, I kid. Rowain has displayed perfectly acceptable levels of grumpiness and lawyerin'.

So why are you misreading me Meiz

It seemed like defending since you brought the same thing up on several occasions. You started with "Pindicator is suspicious for voting a newbie", but later continued with "we shouldn't vote newbie in the first 24 hours". VM is the only new player in this game.

Lewwyn Wrote:I actually agree with the idea that we cannot assume post restriction = villager. I had an issue with the way you presented that in a subtle and obfuscating way that also planted an additional seed of doubt against anyone with a post restriction.

The seed of doubt against post restrictions was by purpose, since I don't think it tells anything of alignment. Not sure about the "subtle" part, I think I was quite blunt lol I didn't really vote VM based on the restriction. More because of pressure and to see from where he got the "bandwagoning early is good" - idea. Seems like he got it from the other forum. I wanted some examples to see if bandwagoning early is common in those games. The ones I've played outside RB did not have BW's for pressure - mentality.

You are ommitting some key elements. First pindicator is suspicioous for voting a newbie right at the start of the game before he even has a chance to connect and say a word.

2nd: I clearly stated we should give newbies time totalk. But I also said if he gives of wolfsigns we should vote right forhim (without a timerestriction).

3rd Your case rests on the fact that a) I did defend VN which is not true and b) on your assumption that VN is a villager which begs the question why do you believe that.
Do you have more knowledge than we do? Perhaps a little cheatsheet?

I'm not convinced that we do. Do you want to elaborate?

I suggest lynching Twinkletoes.

I don't like how he went from "lets not think of voting him off just because of his possible post restriction" in his first post to "getting bored of making one up already?" in his second post. It's not exactly a contradiction, but it's a notable change in tone.

I've missed you too Zak. I think the record now stands that you have voted to lynch me in every game I've played smile

I am not voting him off right now, which would indeed be a contradiction. As in all games I've played, I'm not going to throw my vote around.

This was my way of at least challenging him without trying to say definitively one way or another what he is.

Plus I'd rather you quoted the post so that you can show the whole post which asked him if he had just broken his restriction twice OR got bored of it already.

So what?
If you know what I mean.

You voted for pind for voting for VM, that seems to be defending him straight off

And then there was this:
Quote:Attacking the new guy when he gives wolftells? - yes
attacking him when he doesn't show up during the first 24 hours? - yes
but attacking with the third post in the whole thread a mere hour after the game started is a bit on the unfriendly side

He got 2 votes shortly after posting in l33t, before novice showed up to show others had posting restrictions. this is in what, hour 2 of the first day? Those votes were never going to stick, but it did get a new player involved in the discussions.

He was never getting lynched because of that, but he may not have known that at the time, so could be pressured into coming forward with more info and maybe panicking.

Put 2 votes in the first 6 hours on somebody like Lewwyn and he probably would hardly notice (possibly because he would be too drunk to lol )

Why would it matter if you throw your vote around? As long as you have it in a good place come lynchtime, there doesn't seem to be any harm in switching once you have the answers you want. Unless you are a wolf trying to develop a nice voting record?
