Least impressive in the sense that I find it hardest to think of any contribution to conversation that you have made. There are others who have done little, but yours was the name I went with as being slightly less - partially because of a vote count post which for me normally suggests an attempt to inflate post count and visibility without contributing anything - especially as uberfish has provided many for us anyway.

That's my reasoning, its not set in stone while I am awake, but I want to see what you can come up with and try and get you to engage.

That vote-count post is for me. I post it b/c more information is better. This must be the 2nd game I've caught (real) flack for posting vote-counts, which I still don't get. Just subtract the number of vote-count posts from my actual count and you get the real post count... a number of dubious use for hunting IMO. But I suppose that comes from the perspective of a chronic lurker.

Zak, why did you cast this vote? I may be being dense but it doesn't make much sense to me.

Mainly just testing the waters; it was the first real "case" that was made against anyone, and I wanted to engage in the discussion. Still, I couldn't really decide who to side with, so I kind of compromised.

Jkaen, what made you consider the possibility that post restrictions might be transient? That seems a little prescient, given that Novice now claims that his restriction will be lifted.

Novice, can you shed any more light on your own restriction? Will it end after day 1? Day 2? Day 3? Is it replaced by some other restriction or ability?

You know, my joke votes the last two games did both hit wolves.

About non-vote, a re-read shows you did the same in WW13, even set up your "this is how I play as a Villager" profile.

This is why I voted for him initially, as I was curious to see if his play would have evolved at all since the last game. It appears not to, which is probably a slight village tell more than anything.

Some thoughts:

1) If VM is a wolf, he's playing a very bold game. It would be very easy for a wolf to just post a few really long posts that are annoying to read and there's a good chance most players would think he's contributing and let him slide.

2) I think if we have a serial killer they wouldn't get anywhere near a discussion on it.

3) I really don't like Meiz's attacks on Rowain, they seems forced to me. It feels a lot like Day 1 in WW11, and there were wolves all over that.

I still find both Meiz and Rowain suspicious. However, one of them has to be innocent, and I'm not really sure which at this point. I'll return to them when I decide which.
In the meantime Waterbat reads as suspicious to me now as he did day 1 last game. Jumping on dogpiles or being eager to start them on a player when there is no case on that player seems very wolfish to me.

Not sure what you're saying with your other quotes. My point was: Jkaen said in post #12 that "lets hope its not a gmae long posting restriction", and you then quoted that in post #20 to indicate that yours isn't. That's what I was getting at with his "prescience".

As for your vote on me, I guess you want a little more reasoning to support my vote? I thought that Jkaen's posting more than I remember him posting in the last 2 WW games, and on top of that the following posts seem to be him buddying up. First by chumming up with VM a bit and then defending me rather adamantly. Like he's trying to go around making friends rather than digging for wolves. (Not that he was wrong about Rowain; I think Rowain's initial accusation on me was fair to get some talk going but he held onto it a bit.)

He's also jumped around on targets that have already been called out by other people rather than starting any digging of his own. First following my joke vote onto VM and then following Meiz onto Rowain.

So I prodded him to get him to respond.

While I'm doing my stream-of-conscious I'll add Meiz has touched a wolf twinge from me as well.

If so, lynch me and you will have 48 hours of novice quoting. In fact, I've enjoyed this part of the game the most so far - but I won't go as far as to say I'd rather see a villager hang this evening.

I'm not sure where I came off as uncaring, but i have to strongly dissent with this statement. Later in the same post, you indicate that I joined Bigger, but denied bandwagonning. I actually admitted it fully - I joined on Bigger because I wanted to join someone that had a few votes already on them. Is that not flat out admitting to "bandwagonning"? Yes, we get information if one person is at the top of the list and feels compelled to defend themselves. We get twice as much information if two are in that position, no?

I admit to having nothing solid to go on this early. I really liked whoever posted that newbs feel like the voting on day one is unfair/random. I felt the same way last game (even as wolf) - I am over it. Hell, ill even vote the newb if convinced. Although I must admit that the l33t conversion is my second favorite thing this game so far.


Oh other note: I joined the game a little late as I was imposed upon at the exact moment this game started - but when I did join, I put out a couple of joke lines (par for the course in these games) that included the Diplomacy game tags. I just thought it was funny that the first 4 people I had to say something about were also in that game. I apologize for mixing games - won't let it happen again.

Zakalwe, despite my disagreement with your last post, are you satisfied? I would rather us work together and string up some wolves.
