There are 2 main reasons why it would have been sensible for a wolf Jkaen to do what he did:

1 - VM is a wolf, he is making a last ditch attempt to save him -> proven untrue

2 - VM is innocent and going to hang regardless, so makes a token effort to try and convince people to go after someone else so he can avoid any suspicion that falls on those seen as responsible for the mislynch by claiming he tried to prevent it -> Very possible?

Sorry been busy this weekend as girlfirend is elaving for 4 weeks, so trying to spend a lot of time with her.

I think your secodn option is a stretch and as I see it the only way I gain benefit from that is if I switch from a villager to a wolf, are you a wolf?

Seems as I am near to getting mislynched I shoudl spend more time defending, but not going to happen today, as I said above, so sorry if you feel I didnt give you guys enoguh chance to save me. I still dont like all this holding vote stuff from TT, seems to be a great way of covering track for voting (like people are accusing me of).

Was going to vote TT to follow up yesterdays vote, but since that seems to have gone I need to defensive vote on Injera. Dont currently have muc of a read on him, so not too upset about having to make that vote

Injera's defense post doesn't really compel me to move my vote. I guess it feels a little too generic.
If you know what I mean.

sorry, missed this earlier
Sareln Wrote:Mattimeo, you say you think JKaen is most suspicious now, but how do you square him making that last minute gambit with being a wolf since VM flipped innocent?
The whole point was that VM flipped town. If he'd come up scum, I'd say the argument would be fairly weak - stating you think the top candidates are innocent, and switching from an irrelevant vote to another irrelevant vote, that late in the day, just seems pointless when you can be visibly seen to be putting the final nail in the coffin of a wolf, or possibly better, not speaking up at all.

If he knew that both main targets were, in fact, town, then stating that you think they both are could be considered decent cover, lessening any flac coming off on you when it turns out at least one of them is. Putting a vote in a random-ish, but slightly supported by others, place is so he's still seen as actively hunting.

I also liked how he was pretty certain that the main target was innocent, but slightly less so on the one that looked less likely to be lynched...

Phone.
No internet on train and only phone access when borrowing a wifi like now.
I am still very sure there is a wolf among 'lurkers' howerever difficult to lock down my vote now on them without a defense.

See current short list is Injera vs Jkaen.
Of those I'd say Injera is the most likely wolf.
I think Jkaenwolf would be more withdrawn, his posts seem okay enough.
Injeras posting has a more wolfish feel to me. Too much pleasing everyone. But Injera always feels like a wolf.(zak, what did you mean by 'spiking on my injerameter yesterday?) Also that it seems convenient that after my vote yesterday there was posting afterwards without an 'had work, busy'.

Leaving for the day. Vote is locked. Full attendance monday. Get the silent talking.

His reason for not voting was needing to 'defend' the vote, this still seems wolfy to me. Villagers vote knowing they are innocent, it seems strange to value the security of your votes over pressure on wolves.

This is a vey good point.

Injera Wrote:For now, though, JKaen. I didn't like his attacks on Rowain Day 1,
With that I agree smile but

Injera Wrote:and his last minute switch to TT on Day 1 makes a lot more sense as a wolf who didn't want to get his hands dirty on a mislynch than a villager legitimately going for a new target.

Injera Wrote:JKaen - I didn't find his arguments against Rowain compelling at all. Switching to TT less than 40 minutes before lynch time seems fairly inexplicable. It feels like a "guilty wolf" move, especially if Bigger ends up being village- he didn't want his paws on VM, but the vote was close enough (and moving a bit) that he couldn't safely park his vote on Bigger. If the vote flipped and Bigger was innocent, he would be under intense scrutiny. So he picked a third target, a lurker, as a safe haven.
is simple not true. At the time of his switch Jkaen was voting for me. So no matter what he was already on a essential non-vote.

Yes this is me defending Jkaen. Pervert world isn't it?
But that does not mean that Jkaen is innocent. Matter of fact I'm not used that Jkaen moves from me so I do suspect him for that wink.

OTOH I don't like if someone gets accused of something that simple is not true.
He could have easily stayed were he was.

So I don't like the case vs Jkaen => I don't like the people voting for him. Since Injera has already several votes on him I'll push up Mattimeo.

Ugh, 31 pages in. 10 to go.

What doesn't help? When your roommate is practicing the songs to Fiddler on the Roof for his play next month over and over. I swear, if I have to hear them sing the matchmaker song one more time tonight I'm going to snap.

Anyway, a couple questions have popped up as I'm reading through:

* Rowain, how many scum roles do you think there are?

* How come jkaen is getting heat when he never moved his vote off of bigger or VM? He had been voting for Rowain that entire time. Yeah, the timing looks suspect - if he was moving off of one of those two candidates. But he wasn't; i'm getting a village lean on him on this evening's run-through.

* Conversely, why is Sareln getting off for doing the exact same thing (post 227)? The only thing I can think of is that jkaen drew more attention by switching his vote in the same post he washed his hands of Bigger & VM.

Back to the posts.

... find me a find, catch me a catch ...

my vote on matt seems pointless at the moment - and in any case it got him talking, which I wanted. I like TT better than you or Injera, I'd be glad to start momentum on him.

And in any case after the last game I'd rather lynch lurkers than active(ish) posters on day 2. If we miss, it gives us a better chance in the late game.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.
