Basically, I've stopped caring about my game after losing out on Unity Hydro Bay and want to do something stupid. As Lal of the +50% War Weariness.
I just murdered one of Yang's Formers. Finished teching Ultraponics, going Industrial Base (6 turns away, depending on Research Builds). After that, build maintenance bays, alt-click Siege Tanks, shut down any stacks that Mist sends out).
It should be noted that I had the chance to kill that former earlier. However, I didn't take it because the economy path with the Unity Hydro bay was still viable. Now, after a single setback, I've just decided to ragequit and start hurting people and going out in a blaze of glory.
To everyone else that wants to play against me in the future: this is how you end my game

So, I think I've scared off Mist with my power rating. Right now, I don't really care about science, my empire is specialised towards production. I may take advantage of Selrahc's espionalliance. If he'll give it to me.
Mist isn't moving in right now. He's been in builder mode, I've been in production mode. Still, there's little point attacking Mist, the Hive are hard to dislodge.
Found Sareln. He's closer than I thought, and he doesn't seem to have explored in this direction. He's gonna get rushed
This picture makes me think that Sareln's capital is to the southeast. That means I want to be moving my units along the rivers, ready to strike deep in his heart. Let's hope Sareln gets some good fungus-clearing rolls, so as to expose his cities to 2-moving Siege Tanks.
First, a settler to settle the Fungicide/RainyDNA/Rocky minerals spot. It's a really nice city!
A mediocre 2nd city.
Ah, this is a nice city. Shame the jungle gives -1F until Environmental Economics. The Silver is useful. I might switch over from the energy resource to the TropiDNA, tech Renewable Energy, and work some coast ridge windmills. If so, I'll want a 2 more city sizes.

How many siege tanks do you have right now, and with how many do you want to invade Sareln?

3 right now, I'll need more. Though I suspect Sareln is in the middle of an expansion push, leaving him vulnerable.
They were originally out of position, and capable of hitting Mist, but I withdrew them when I noticed he was building Impact Troopers. I'm not too worried unless he goes all-in, I can build up my own force as he's marching towards me. I've pushed out sentries to guard the approach from Hiveland towards UNland.

How about an update?
I've officially made contact with Sareln. What do I know? I expect he's last in all demographics, and likely last in Power. He has a negative planet rating, which means no free culture.
What else? It seems that the terraforming civic's free fungus removal has finally kicked in. This is a good thing. Why? Because Siege tanks have a malus inside fungus. This gives me maximum speed to hit. On T52, I enter Sareln's borders with 3 tanks. He hasn't spotted my tanks yet, nor does he have enough EPs to get my graphs for the next dozen or so turns. Let's hope for the best!
Mist just moved out an impact trooper. Don't know why. My Scout patrol has +20% free strength, +20% strength from Morale II, +25% fortification, 50% terrain defence, and -20% from Mist's Anti-Personnel ability. The impact trooper also has the -20% from the standard Hive Malus. This means I have odds on the defence. He has nothing else to attack with, I highly doubt he will kill my scout patrol. In any case, I have a Siege Tank moving north.
In 2 turns, I settle a city here.
Decent food/mfg, terrible GNP. Nice power as well, time to make use of it. I'm going to try any make something happen using the diplo thread.

Oh, thanks, Colonel Santiago. Here, you go, one CEO Morgan, trussed up like a turkey, for delivery. Thank you for your contributions to world peace.
Sareln has 1200 power. I wonder how many scout patrols that's made of?
Edit: 300 power. Each scout patrol is worth 300 power.

What answer but Yes!
Sareln's stuff. I'm surprised he hasn't sent the rover out. I expect him to evacuate it to his capital. I may end up bypassing Great Conclave for the juicy, most developed prize, the Hydro bay.
So what does he have? Every 2 pop points is worth 1 power. So he has 10 power from units and techs. He doesn't yet have industrial base, which is worth 3. Scouts and Flamers are worth 3. Unity Rovers are worth 2. Regular rovers are worth 3. So 3-4 units in his capital. And I'll have odds on all of them.
Sareln also has 14h in Great Conclave. So not a scout, but a flamer? Which is good, it delays his reponse by at least a turn.
Still dealing with Mist.
