That sounds good, would give other players a progress report without allowing/encouraging them to do precise C&D on victory points.

So, I like the idea of when you break through points levels, you announce in a banter thread (I went over 50!).
I think you A) only have to say it the first time (so, if you lose a city you take and go back under then take it again, you don't have to say it again). B) you don't have to say how much over you get.
If you, somehow, manage to jump 2 levels (100 and 150), you should probably announce both, so people don't have to track everything by turn to know "hey wait - he was just at 50 2 turns ago!"

Between four and six. So far we have definite interest from thestick and Ilios, which makes for at least 2 spaces still up for grabs.

I wish I could throw my ring in the hat, but I've been busier than expected lately and don't want to over-commit. I could ded-lurk for somebody though, and give input as often as I can, if that will help spur anyone on to play.
