Units movement:?

Warrior - return home
Scout - SE, SE (on the hill)?

IMO there is no other good move for the scout.

BTW: Gillette Team has already met its other neighbor. There is no other way to have 6 EP on us smile

So we've moved SE and avoided contact for the moment, and we have found even more Deer by the gold! smile

Our Worker has also completed and I've moved on to the Warrior build:

I'll post the Demos in the other thread. So we now have nice city spots available to us on both sides of the Gold.

For next turn, I'm thinking S-SW for the Scout?
Warrior will continue heading SE.

Next turn has been played. Moved the scout SE-SW, and in doing so found a Marble by the water.

Moved the worker onto the Deer, which will start building the Camp next turn.
After ending the turn, I switched the city to start working the Sheep while we improved the Deer:

And that gives us the following demographics:

Warrior movement for next turn is obvious...he'll continue SE. I agree that he should just continue on past the city to explore to the south. We'll have the new warrior a few turns after he passes by the city.

The scout I'm thinking the best path is to go SE-SW again. That is a hill he'll move onto. The turn after that we can then decide which path to take back towards the west to uncover those tiles south of the gold.

I forgot to set it in the queue before I exited the game, but I assume we'll be starting up the Bronze Working next for research?

News:
- Next big lake and a very defensive choke city spot smile
[Image: RB0019-Turn12.jpg]

Units Movement:?

Warrior - The path if we decide to scout with the warrior.

Scout - If the warrior goes scouting the only really possible move would be SE, SE and than around the lake. Otherwise we would toddle after our footsteps.

Choke Point:

We just came across the probable end of our territory and by the way we have found the ideal place for a border city:
- protected on both flanks by the lakes
- on the hill
- to the front of the city is just a flat surface.
- Marble and wet Wheat in the first ring.
- many farmable grasslands (thanks to lakes)
- many grasslands hills

This is basically the ideal choke city spot. The city will protect us on a very broad border (thanks to lakes), and it will be a very good production city, with 4 grasslands hills (one in the fog) + Marble (1,3,3), which alone is a good reason to go after the city smile

We better go after this city quite fast, otherwise one of our opponents could take this spot and our eastern border and the interior would be very vulnerable then.

News:
- a forest grew in the capital. (To be honest, it grew a turn ago, but as there is no notification about this, I've just realized that now).

Scout - SW, SW?

I changed our research back to Animal Husbandry. At the end of the next turn we will know where our horses are smile
